Are the forums for vBulletin 2.x no longer available? Have they been deleted or?

You can download previous releases of vBulletin with a valid license in the Members Area.
This modification is archived and cannot be downloaded.
How come you have made them no longer available for download? |
As vB2 is no longer supported.
They should still be available to use though if vB 2.x is still available for download from vBulletin.com
I agree... not going to change anyone's opinion here though.
Yeah.. I think mods should ONLY be archived if the creator doesn't want their mod being used.
Otherwise I think it's pointless. |
Even if it's no longer supported. No reason to archived them.
I kind of agree. Even though it is no longer supported any more, people should still be able to use said modifications, unless the author explicitly stated that he wants otherwise. It's basically trashing unnecessary things. Surely official support is no longer there, but that does not mean there won't be "unofficial" support for the mods (e.g. members helping each other here, those who have old versions of vB still).

I think at some point, you got to let things go technologically. 2.x might still be used, but at some point, I couldn't personally justify keeping files around for software that isn't that widely used.
