Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, prepare to be amazed as I prove to you all, where there is a will, there is always a way. How would you like to have a tinypic plugin like the screen shot below?

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2012/09/23.jpg

Or maybe you prefer something like this?

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2012/09/33.png

Thanks to Grayfox from GamerzCreed.com You can. This is how you can do it.

First, download the attachment included in this post and put it in your forums/clientscript/ directory via your favorite FTP client.

In the newthread template from vbulletin 4.0.1:

find:
PHP Code:

<vb:if condition="$show['poll']"

If your running vbulletin 3.8.4, then search for:

PHP Code:

<if condition="$show['poll']"

put the following code above it:

PHP Code:

<fieldset class="fieldset">
<
legend>TinyPic Uploader</legend>
<
div style="padding:$stylevar[formspacer]px">
      <
div>Upload your images to TinyPic from here.</div>
        </
div>
<
div style="padding:$stylevar[formspacer]px"><input type="button" class="button" tabindex="1" style="font-weight:normal" value="TinyPic Uploader" onclick="javascript:showTinypicPlugin(); this.style.display='none';"/></div>
<
center><script type="text/javascript">
tinypic_layout 'wide';
tinypic_type 'both';
tinypic_links 'forum';
tinypic_language 'en';
tinypic_search 'false';
tinypic_autoload false;
</
script>
<
script src="http://yoursite.com/forums/clientscript/Tinypic plugin.js" type="text/javascript"></script></center>
</
fieldset

================================================== ==============

In the newreply template from vbulletin 4.0.1:

find:
PHP Code:

<vb:if condition="$show['member']"

If your running vbulletin 3.8.4, then search for:

PHP Code:

<if condition="$show['member']"

put the following code below it:

PHP Code:

<fieldset class="fieldset">
<
legend>TinyPic Uploader</legend>

There is one line in the above two codes that you will need to change in order to make it work and three other ones that are optional.

The three optional ones include the following and are marked in red:

1. <legend>TinyPic Uploader</legend>

2. <div>Upload your images to TinyPic from here.</div>

3. tinypic_layout = 'wide';

The first two are just so you can have it say whatever you want and the last line is so you can either have the tinypic layout from screen shot one or from screen shot two. If you want the layout from screen shot one put 'narrow'; If you want the layout from screen shot two put 'wide';

The code that you will need to change is the following and is marked in red:

1. <script src=" http://yoursite.com/forums/clientscript/Tinypic plugin.js "

That's the URL that's pointing to the script you uploaded onto your server earlier. Just change it to your own sites URL.

I wont go into showthread_quickreply since some people were having problems with it. But at least you have more options now. :)

GrayFox24 01-28-2010 06:37 AM

Thanks for posting it here.

It was a quick edit. So have fun guys, Use it wisely :D

compuminus 02-15-2010 05:49 PM

This is a great code mod! Only problem is that the TinyPic button does not appear when editing a post. It would be great if the template mods for this were included as well...

You can get it working with quick reply if you install one of the quick -> advanced reply mods and edit the mod's template instead. Works fine for me -- never could get the quick reply working with the latest vB versions...

GamerFill 12-16-2010 05:45 AM

Works perfectly! Thank you!

Okuma Steve 01-03-2011 09:15 PM

Is there anyway this could be made to allow for multiple uploads at once?

ekberali 08-20-2011 11:11 PM

Hi, quick reply not working...
Code:

<img src="{vb:stylevar imgdir_editor}/spelling.png" class="imagebutton" id="{vb:raw editorid}_cmd_spelling" width="20" height="20" alt="{vb:rawphrase check_spelling}" />
                                        </vb:if>

Just installed on vb 4.1.8

However, the uploaded result is not showing the IMG code because the scrolling is disabled.

Also increasing the height, hence users will get the IMG code immediately.

attached my tiniypic script file. Don't forget to change it to .txt or replace your current code with this one...

Mark as installed ;)
