About :
Easy to use, just import product xml and add to your layout.

Requirements :
Must have DownloadsII installed.

Changelog :
1.2 : added links in downloads
1.3 : New settings via admincp, direct download, sorting etc. see screenshot.

Installation instructions :
Import the product,
Add to your layout where you want it, just like any other widget.

Updateing :
Note : when updateding, it does not overwrite existing widget it adds a additional.
just delete the old one, as you would delete a wigdet normal.

1) Must : Uninstall product if you havent, then simply delete the old widget.
2) follow install procedure, it always adds a new widget.


Plans for furture upgrades + bug's found :
- adding title length control to admincp options
- no futher plans, got some idea's ? post them

I've been looking for this but would prefer the code just to add to a widget I make if that's possible. Could that be ok too?

Install the widget and you will see the code.
I need to do the same thing.
I want to see all files in one category as a widget.

But a question for Vaupell,
Is there a way to download the file directly from the link?
I don't want to be redirected back to the downloads section.

As steven said, just install then you can see the code,
reason im makeing it as a product is becourse im including vbulletin options,
i cant add options if its not a product, then each user have to do it manually
and thats not friendly..

Unfortunally vb chose to save widgets as binary, which causes problems with
forums using non-latin text.

And if you install just the widget you WONT get the vbulletin settings with it for costumization
which means it wont work for you!

Do you think about the wideget that shows the Popular Files from categories that administrator in ACP has set ?

For example : Popular Music, Poular Movie and ....

Hopefully I still have version 6.0.4.

I reinstalled v6.0.4. No problem now.

I think your two's discussion belongs in private or in the downloads thread..
and contact RS if your haveing problems with 605.

I posted it here to find out if I was the only one having an issue between this mod and RS's.
Evidently something is different with 6.0.5 from 6.0.4 causing our problem.

Im still unable to reproduce this error, works on several sites ive checked
using version 6.0.5 and current mod..

tryed combineing all sorts of other modfications to see if i can produce a conflict,
but since the mod is basicly a php-plugin with a template for display
its wery strange it dosent work.

If you want help with the issue, you gotta give me more than "dosent work"..
else i cant figure out whats happening in your case(s)

Oddly enough since updating to vB4.1.8, my 6.0.4 version no longer works.
Updated to vB4.1.10. Still not working. Security token error.

I guess I have nothing to loose but install 6.0.9.
