No, i don't plan to UpGrade my forum to vBulletin 4.

Does this differ from https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=127113? I currently have that installed but there's just one small issue- filesize quotas are ignored. Is this also the case in your mod?

and work to create that i upload here....

if the issue exist into https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=91220 then exist also in mine, give me more details to resolve the issue.

I believe the issue was that PM attachments completely bypass any usergroup attachment limits, so you could be uploading GBs of files without the admins knowing.

I get this when installed:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function compile_template() in /home/thebull/public_html/forums/global.php(1091) : eval()'d code on line 12

I check it tonight and i put an update if needed.

This doesn't seem to work i'm trying to test and in pm theres no section for attachments and ive set up the permisson to yes on users admin and mod and in adminpanel ,vboption theres no other pm attachment option im running latest 3.8.4 vBulletin so not sure if i missed it something here.

What style you are using ???

I don't get the error anymore, but the option to attach is not showing when I want to PM. Checked the rights under Usergroups.

EDIT: In any style.

i got 3 styles and ive even checked the default one and doesnt show it either.

ok that part was on no then did that set to yes to users and admins and when you go to pm it still wont show the attachment part on all 3 themes which includes the default theme.

All users are set to no....even when I set it to yes, it makes no difference.....

Very strange i check it again and again !!!!

Go to Plugin global_setup_complete , do edit and change
Execution Order from 4 to 5

Ok did what you told me and still doesnt show any attachment part in pm on all the themes.

OK, I have other PM mods installed too. I tried disabling them to see if yours will work. This is the one causing the problem it seems: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=196249

When I disable that the "Manage Attachments" button shows up in the PM. I really hope you can help to sort this out, because I use that other Mod daily.

ahh i use that mod too so seems its gotta do with the MEGAUPLOAD Mod i got hopefully
SorentoUltimate you can get your mod to work with MEGAUPLOAD Mod on.

Hi, I really want this to work, users ask for this non-stop. But, unfortunately it isn't working.

No errors, but there is simply no attachment option. I also tried the default style, and tried changing global_complete to 5 from 4, it made no difference. I enabled the permissions in the Usergroup manager already.

vb 3.8.4 pl2, let me know what else you need from me to troubleshoot.

View / Edit User
First Column Bottom, PM Attachments Permissions
Set the Permissions To YES

It was set to No, even though the usergroup is Yes. I changed to yes, but it made no difference. Tested on two different users.

And no, I'm not using that addon. The only PM-related add-on I can think of is Cyb's Advanced Forum permissions, requiring a certain number of posts before you can send to some user groups. But, I already disabled it to test, it made no difference.

I Install Imageshack, MEGAUPLOAD & Photobucket Uploader (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=196249) and start searching the conflict.

I Found conflict not only with PM Attachments but with two more Addons i use on PM's.

The reason are the Template Replacements!

The Imageshack, MEGAUPLOAD & Photobucket Uploader not add the template code in the existing template but replace all the template!

That happen for pm_newpm template and for pm_quickreply template.

I try to solve the problem next weekend...

Yea it dont show up for me, and i have no mods associating with PM

AdminCP ===> UserGroups ====> UserGroup Manager
Find the UserGroup you want to use for Test
Edit UserGroup
PM Attachments Permissions
Set the Permissions To YES

AdminCP ===> Users ====> Search for Users
Find the User you want to use for Test
View / Edit User
First Column Bottom, PM Attachments Permissions
Set the Permissions To YES


Check the above and inform me....
