Display Reputation Comments on Members Profile Page
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This modification has been withdrawn. vBulletin 4.0.x and 4.1.x are no longer supported. The feature is already built into the core vBulletin 4.2.x code. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When a members profile is displayed, this adds a new tab to the display - showing the reputation comments that the member has received. ACP Options are provided to ; 1. Turn the display on/off. 2. Limit the display to certain usergroups. 3. Limit the number of comments shown. 4. Restrict the display of who gave comments (in addition to the viewers existing permission). 5. Will not display comments for threads the member does not have permission to view. 6. Provides a time limited ability to allow the deletion of comments by those who have permission. The ACP options for this hack are in vBulletin Options > Reputation in Member Profile. To install - unzip the XML file and import it into vbulletin via the ACP Product Manager. Looks good as always, tagged for later use!
|
Since this has its own page im wondering what the negative effects are if i was to crank the number up to around the last 50 reputation comments would have. i figure i may as well fill the page. Personally im not worried about resources as im dedicated with more resources then ill ever use or need. but still curious.

Just a suggestion for the next release (if you decide to add features): an option in the User CP giving members the ability to choose whether or not they want their reputation comments publicly displayed.

I have no idea what they have done to break it, I'll have a look when I can. |

As for the main issue - I'll uploading a new version for 4.0.1 shortly - unfortunately IB have really screwed up adding new tabs in vb 4.0.1 - I have worked around it, but the workaround will break when they fix the actual issues in the code. |
Have to give you major props Paul the support you provide for your Products is A+, as a matter of fact 10x what a few others are offering for there premium products. And they are without a doubt some of the most useful. Just wanted to say thanks. My members and myself appreciate it greatly.
|
I admire your speed of solving problems Paul!
Works great now! |
Bug fixing code is part of my real job, I am quite good at it ;)
|
sexy as all hell
|
The temp fix works only if there is no other hack that use tabs :(
For example I use Yet Another Awards System And I can see the Awards but reputation tab is empty... Any solution? |
Ok, I fixed it.
I hope you dont mind that I messed in you hack. Here is the fixed file: Attachment 111883 P.S. I'm not a coder so use it at own risk! |
Is it normal that it wont show the green/red/grey dot reflecting positive/negative/neutral rep point given?
If the answer is yes, can it be added? |
Remove option "Store CSS as files" and will be shown ;)
|
@ Paul M
mate your 4.0.3 is still not compatible with other profiles tab hacks. you better check what i've fixed. it's compatible with all 4.xx vb versions and other hacks |

Is this working on 4.0.0 yet Paul???
|
No, this will not work on 4.0.0 - as it says ;

To get the tiny images to show you will need to add Paul's CSS definitions to your stylesheet.
Add: Code:
.profile_content #mprlist li { Save. Reload your page. |
Unless you are using css stored as files, they will be auto added to any style.
For anyone who uses that option, I will [at some point] supply a rollup css file. The way vb4 keeps changing atm, its not worth doing something that gets broken by the next version. |

Hello Paul.
