Boots' HTTP Referral Tracker

I wanted some quick way to see who was linking to my forum so I created this product to show me the last xxx referring urls on the forum home page. I figured I'd share in case others found it useful.

Installation is simple, upload the xml as a product, go to the settings and configure it how you like.

Let me know if it works ok, it's my first time packaging up a product.

History:
1.0 - Initial Release
1.1 - Fixed a hard coded table prefix
2.0 - Added referred pages section, full referrer list and more options
2.1 - Fixed a template bug

Installation Instructions

Remove any previously installed version
Upload referrers.php to your forum root
Import the product XML

oops,got a database error.

I like this, pretty slick. Using the anonymizer as well is cool. Tagged until I go live with vB4.

This Product is showing in my ACP but nothing In WGO? Permissions for Admin usergroup 6 are set.

ETA Installed on 4 separate forums on 4 separate servers Nothing showing in WGO on any of them. But the menu does show in all the ACP's

2nd Edit I take that back apperantly you have to wait for a referal b4 the block shows. Seems to be working fine. Thnks for a very useful hack good stuff. Installed and rated.

for search engines optional... show search engine name and query as well...

question:
on my forum it seems to show the most popular referrers not the latest one!

It's sorted by most popular referrer. I'm adding an option to change that. I'm also adding a section to show the most popular pages being referred to.

The blank page indicates a permission problem. Do you have usergroups set properly for "Full View - Usergroups Access" ?

the page shows

in the header and nothing after that...

I know what the problem is, I screwed up exporting a template. I've been super busy with work but I'm going to try and get a fixed up version posted later today.

Search for in templates and change this

and that will fix the title issue, but still nothing showing on the page.

I'm at work right now but I fixed up a dated template in the product. If someone could test this and let me know if it fixed the problem I'll update the modification.

i got this sql related error when i tried re-importing the xml file. should i delete this table from the database manually?

Actually, if you uninstall the product first it should take care of that. I'll make the installer a bit smarter in the next release.
