What Does this product do ?
This product simply adds a Privacy Policy to your site.As Google Adsense's new terms of service.

Does this take a long time to do all the template & phrase edits?
No MARCO1 Privacy Policy automatically does all of the appropriate edits for you.

Simply Import the product from the admincp and Upload privacy_policy.php to your forum root directory.

So does google require a specific privacy policy or will a generic one be fine?

Well the line "This site uses google adsense to show adds, if you want more info about it go to <goolge link>. If you going to block google adsense we reserve the right to deny you access to this site." is all ready enough. The more complicated the greater the errors you can make.

I have added some parts of Google's Policy with the normal privacy policy. But this change is important to any of Google adsense users. The Normal privacy policy is not enough.

An easier option to change the text (rather than changing it from the templates, anyway) would have been welcome in my opinion... translating things in templates is not usually a good idea.

Also, things like "Like many other Web sites, {vb:raw vboptions.bburl} makes use of log" -> {vb:rad vboption.bburl} only shows http://www.mysite.com, it doesn't make it a hyperlink.

Otherwise, it works fine, just some small feedback.

Edit; Oh and IE8 messes up the privacy policy page a bit.

I'll update it, However This Mod is on the bottom of my note, On the first note now is the new version of my advanced editor and the new HIGHSLIDE Image resizer :)

UNINSTALLED! This thing renders like crap in Internet Explorer. Numerous validation errors and other problems. Darn, it was a good concept.

Great concept with heaps of IE issues should really be updated.

does not work on v4.1.7 Patch Level 2

Just set it up on 4.1.7 PL2 and OK on Firefox, Rockmelt and chrome, but it does mess up the page a bit with IE8 and IE9, not a major problem as it only happens whilst showing the privacy policy.

this is a required install if you have adsense on your site or else they will catch you and suspend your account until its posted. Without notice at that

correct, this MOD is only for people with google analystics where as the other i provided you is for standard forums
