EASY - Better Looking Site Navigation Bar

First go to vBa CMPS> Add Module> Template Module

Module Title - Site Nav
Active - Yes
Template to incude - site_nav
Style - Highlight Your Style
Template Content - (This is just an example of one if you want a full list. then download the text file)

Everything in red you will need to change to what you want it to say and your URLs.
Everything in blue you will need to put what color you want.
In Pink is the width size... you may wanta play around with it a little to set it to your likings or just change it to width="100%"
</table> needs to stay at the very end of your code.
The header colors will be according to what you have on your CSS style sheet.
To edit that you got to Styles & templates> Style Manager> "YOUR STYLE" and select Main CSS in your drop down box. Then find Category Strips... Background will be the color you want to change.

to edit this go to Styles and templates> Style Manger > "YOUR STYLE" and select edit templates in your drop down box. Then look for adv_portal_site_nav and double click it (should be up top)

well the font color is gonna be according to what your default is but you can make it bold or whatever color with simple html around the header names or button names

if you dont know much about html .. you can google it and find out the color codes and html codes for color

edit: ok yeah i went to your page and its using your default text color soo all you need to do is add <font color="000000">Home</font> for example on the first button....
and please dont use the exact same icons lol i dont mine u usin some of them but the exact same thing is a lil odd lol

the icons will be coming off mate, just edited some link tops to see it working, most of the images dont work with what i need anyway mate and personally i wont use any images

well as for the header bars they will take on whatever color your style that your viewing in has the setting in the Main CSS so that would be coordinated with the styles.... as far as the buttons unfortunately no

nice one been looking for this..much more better then an sidebar hack....but one Q i don't have the vBa CMPS in my ACP...!! any help?

im not sure man.... usually i would know what to do but on sidebars i dunno you would prbably have to install a sidebar hack first then place the code in it.... without vba you dont have sidbar options do u????

ok..i have a sidebar already..but would to do this..but don't have the vBa CMPS

you dont have to do the other.... make you a thing like the advertisement bar that has the welcome thing in it and call it site nav or something and then just paste the code

o..ok ty..so in the code.txt..all i have to do is change all the links in it to my site right?

yeah and the icon links ... you will be able to tell the difference oh and the button names and header names ... pretty much just edit it... i did the hard work for you ;)

Hey, I was wondering how would you go around doing this for the actual "formhome" navbar?

im not sure what you mean.... do you mean without vBa

I need a floating navigation bar, hide/unhide from left... like this, but floating, over the forums, I don't want to make forums even thinner-
