Desert Warfare 4.0.0 PL1

I'll be doing Jungle & Arctic Warfare if anybody would be interested in a similar style with different colours.

Install

(I've had to split the upload into 2 zip files due to the 2MB upload limit.)

1. Extract the Desert Warfare 1.zip to your PC and upload the images folder to the root of your FTP allowing files to be overwritten. (Keep the file structure intact or the style will not work properly).

2. Extract the Desert Warfare 2.zip to your PC and upload the images folder to the root of your FTP allowing files to be overwritten. (Keep the file structure intact or the style will not work properly).

3. Go to your Admin CP --> Styles & Templates --> Download / Upload Styles and import the CG69.Desert.Warfare.xml

the logo is in editable .png format and is located in the misc folder within the .zip file and is called dwlogo.png.

The font I used is called Armalite Rifle and can be found here.

Cableguy looks awesome, I could use that style on my website but without the desert warefare images since my theme is different... can you assist me?

Then select the colour you want.

Send me a PM and I'll make a few adjustments for you.

Looks very nice - I run a call of duty clan, so that skin might work quite nicely for us :)

I'm sorry /i havn't updated the style yet, but I've been busy with the holiday period.

Really nice job cableguy! Installed on my test site. I can verify the category text color issue on the cms. I could use some help with the logo png file. All I really need to do is change the text and I realize it's an editable png but I'ma graphics noob and know how to change a text layer in a .psd file. Can you supply a psd file for the logo?

All you need to do, is download and install the font Armalite Rifle (link in post 1), highlight the text and type in your new text, then click save.

Sorry for the delay on this I've had some PC issues.

I've fixed the problem on the CMS and updated the xml file.

I've tried that, the font is available in windows. I'm using PSE 7 for editor, can't seem to select the text in your png file. Sry, as I said I'm a graphics noob. Can't see how to edit the text.

What text would you like?

just installed your style its perfect for me however I cannot edit the text as advised.
Any ideas how I can sort it out.
I am creating a new website called 'Allied Heroes' (thats the text I want)

just so you know i have installed this style on the latest version of VB4 and it appears to be working fine.

There you go, just right click and save the image to your PC. The images will need to be renamed to dwlogo.png or they won't show.

How about making new once in the same format as the style like with the lock on ect. or maybe something new and different.

How do you un-camo sticky threads?

Styles & Templates -->Style Manager -->Stylevars -->threadbit_hilite_background

Delete the image path for the background image and either change the colour or use another background.
