Referral Link (and Total) Block in UserCP
1 Attachment(s)
This modification is effectively a Port to vB 4 of this mod.
It will provide members with a block in the top of their UserCP (see screenshot) that tells them what their Referral link is, how to use it, and how many people they have referred to your Forum. The count only increases when a Registration is finalised. I have tested this on 2 sites of mine, it appears to work exactly as it should, but please do report any issues/requests in this thread. |
Thanks! Was working on some promo ideas for the site and this is perfect!
|
I know I could probably go into the phrases/language and change the wording but it would be nice if it showed up in the Settings>Options of the AdminCP - Maybe the ability to select the location of where it shows (like at the bottom of the usercp instead).
Thanks for the great product. |
working perfect thanks
|
thanks dude as said elsewhere i absolutely love ti.
|
Very ncie and clean mod. Excellent job!
|
How did you get the "rounded Edges" instead of the Boring plain square ones?
|
What browser are you using? This block should just take on the style of your existing style.
|
I am using IE 7.
My Members use this, too. as well as Fire Fox. |
And you see the rounded blocks elsewhere in your UserCP?
|
I need this! Thank You! FWIW it applied my style perfectly. Rounded in Flock but not in IE7 just like the rest of the "stock" blocks.
|
great idea

Getting on vb4 pl1 this: XML Error: Empty document at Line 0
edit: reinstal and succesly Where can i find the phrase to edit it to my language? |
I'm looking at Phrasing it today, at the moment you would have to edit the template itself.
|
Could you give me a hint where the txt is? I'm searching buth cant find it directly
|
Yes i found it.
In the template > usercp_vbereferrals |
would it be possible for admins to see who the user(s) have been referred by after they have signed up in a seperate list for admins only
so you would have something like User ID: Username: Referred By User ID: Referred By Username: Date & time User Referred Date & Time User signed up or something similar to this |
Installed Thanks for this just got to try it out on someone
|
Installed, thank you.

In my text? Where? I should correct it.
|
I would like to be able to see the list of total referrals, and who was referred.
Any way to do this? Oh and read the text https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2010/05/43.jpg "it will auto-fill your username in the register form" |
Ahh. So it does. I'll fix that. :)
|
Once I download this, how exactly do I install it?
|
Hi David,
Just import the Product in Product Manager. It's automatically placed in the top of the UserCP. |
I've installed this and my members have said that when their guests try to sign up with the referral link, it does not auto-fill the referrers name. Any help?
