I didn't set it to 970px. You should be able to reformat it using stylevars.

We are releasing a whole new set of updated skins that will feature various colors.

Janmaat 01-19-2010 05:07 AM

Dear Developer

This is a really nice skin

Will it be available for 4.0.1 too? And when will it be release?

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you
Janmaat

j?rgk 01-22-2010 07:52 PM

Hi,

i will it install, but i have some bugs in it (i have 4.0.1). can you upload a style for 4.0.1 ?

the style is great!

TalkTemplate 01-23-2010 12:31 AM

Updated! Please let me know if you have any issues.

djbaxter 01-23-2010 03:18 AM

Now I see only one file for download - BlueHaze.xml.

No fluid or fixed versions. Which is the current? Fluid or fixed?

TalkTemplate 01-23-2010 02:36 PM

The current is fluid. The fixed is being revised.

454SS 01-24-2010 01:20 PM

Installed it on a 4.0.0 install and it works.
Only problem I have is that the timestamp doesn't show. So new posts show as 'last post: today', not as 'last post: today 14:53'. If a user edits his post the time isn't displayed either. So it show as 'Last edited by username; today at'
If I select the default vB 4 style the time shows ok.

what could be the cause of this? Version conflict or error in the XML-file?

I have that problem too. If you mouse over the area where the timestamp should be, you can see it. The color is set wrong.

Are you using version 4.0.0 as well?

No. 4.01.

The time is not there but if you highlight it with the mouse it appears. See attachmenmts.

454SS 01-25-2010 09:36 AM

@djbaxter: good find! I didn't notice that.

Edit:
Could this be stylevar "time_color" ? (line #1044 in xml-file)

Another strange thing I'm having is that the footer color changes on the 'what's new?'-page. See also attached screenshot. The left is the normal/correct one, the one on the right is from the 'what's new?'-page.

Yes it is, it's under 'common' when you look at the Style in the admincp.

The color in "time_color" is set to 'ffffff', I changed it to '777777'. Now it's better. Maybe this was overlooked when the skin was created?

While I was at it I changed "notices_background" to rgb-value 200 220 240. Goes much better with this skin than the default yellow.;)

Edit:
What's left is the footer-issue. I couldn't find the correct var to fix this. I'm using Firefox, but in MSIE it's the same.
It shows when a user is logged in and there are no unread messages, then you get an option to search for posts of the last 24 hours. There's where you see the changed footer-color.

djbaxter 01-25-2010 12:11 PM

Thanks for all that, 454SS.

Thanks for the fix. The template was reverted during the 4.0.1 update. I will update this shortly.

454SS 01-26-2010 12:25 PM

Bare in mind that this 'fix' will mess up the time-color in the footer as a side-effect.

There's a 'footer_time' in the xml-file. I can't find it in the stylevars, is this correct?

I'm having a color issue also. Maybe someone can send me in the right direction. I added an image to the post. As you can see its really hard to read - File, Date, Downloads, and Comments.

Just looking to see what controls that color.
