Instalation
1. Upload contents of folder forum (upload) to your forum.
2. Import Installation File.

Warning : If you update from previous version please rename fields for Facebook, MySpace, Twitter from table user and after installation return data to new fields and delete old fields.

I can't be sure, because I can't install this mod, but try going to AdminCP > Plugin Manager (Not Manage Products).

The Plugin Manager lists plugins per Mod. Look for this mod and then find the "parse_templates" plugin. Click edit and apply the fix.

Again, I'm not sure about this, but it's worth a try.

It may be just a coincidence, but I installed the xml file last night (after uploading the contents to the forum root) and my site went down, I didnt know what it was and my hosts put it down to whatever I'd tried to addon (which was this) so I uninstalled it and it was fine..

I think I'd probably count that one as a coincidence. I don't really see how this could single handedly take your site down, as it's really not that complicated of a mod, and wouldn't really be using much extra server resources.

Im using 3.8.4 and i ran into this issue right after i imported. My site crashed and gave me this error.

EDIT - FIXED from post 6.

Is there a way to edit the .gif files so i can use .jpg or .png? .gif is so crappy quality images.

EDIT - FIXED. I did a search for .gif inside product xml file and just change to .png. Quality is such a difference! Love it!

I had the same problem. The solution in Post #6 worked for me. Post #14 better explains where to make the change found in Post #6.

My problem now is that my social networking image is showing up everywhere it's suppose to except under the username in the forum posts. Suggestions?

There isn't any support for this mod. I PM'd the developer but never got a response. I'll have to un-install mine since it doesn't work.

The buttons are showing up everywhere except postbit (and I do have the settings set to Yes for postbit and postbit legacy). Even in the default vBulletin style they don't show up. What do I do to fix this?

Other AddOn maybe make the Problem, Try to Disable One By One Addons add to Postbit and/or Postbit Legacy and when you find, tell me to see what i can do.

This mod appears to have caused some difficulties on my VB 3.8.4 forum. One of our members sent me an email containing the following;

I am totally can not see the forum...

I can Add YouTube, i check about same line with ICQ/YM/MSN.

I wait until Friday 30/04/2010 all your requests for Other Social Networks and at weekend i make the new version.

Version with Hyves and Linkedin is ready and some users test that version.
