Upgraded also with no problem at all, really excited as I put back the release of my website on this upgrade, and best of all I am off work until 4th January, plenty of time to play around :)

If Gold and stable is released, how come in the members "Download vBulletin 4.0 Publishing Suite" the only download options are Candidate 4 (unstable) and 4.0.0 Patch Level 1? Where do I find Gold or is it not labeled Gold?
I am setting up a test forum (suite), at the bottom it says "Powered by vBulletin™ Version 4.0.0 Release Candidate 4".

Anyone know when next patch version is to be released to knock out some of these minor issues?

Installed the day 4.0 came out GOLD, forgot to shut off CMPS but it still installed with NO errors. its awesome!

Does anyone know of good tutorials on making mods and skins for VB4? I searched vbulletin.org but was unable to find any. I held off on learning to mod vBulletin until 4 came out, since it was going to be such a big change. As much as my forum depends on the wonderful mods and skins here, I feel that I need to be self reliable now.

And I saw a widget thread in the article section. Are widgets the same as plugins? Plugins are what I'm most interested in.

Quick question, when we purchased the license for 4 do we get ALL versions of the 4 build?

For example will be able to download 4.1 if we are currently running 4.0

If you purchased a vB4 license, then you will be able to download any version of the 4.x software that is released.

I had vB 3.8 installed and working, thanks to a lead to a person in UK I paid to have it done. I started the project and never got anywhere. I ended up in the hospital, had lot o stuff happenin and just couldn't get a proper start. Now I have vB 4.x PS Gold, which I actually bought in presales deal last year1

I use paypal if any consideration is agreed upon. I do have a monthly budjet for the project. So, if I can get some advise or leads to what could be my best help or option, I would so very appreciate it. I am invigorated and ready to get started. Gosh, I am just now getting ready to upgrade to $ PS Gold. Ack...I'll never catch up will i?:erm:

it's still in 4.0.x phase , is it gonna jump to 5 all of a sudden or it should cover all 4.1.x 4.2.x ... 4.9.x and then go to 5 ?
