Bing?
WGAF?
Not sure if that "WGAF" has caught on as such acronymns as FU & OMG & LMAO... I'm not sure if it's been nominated for online awards, blablabla, WTF or who gives a damn? But put the words together and see the sparks. etcetera... wow... sooooooooo blasphemable... BLEGH.... and such... GD. So... My question.... BING? aka http://bing.com ...? I'm sure you've all been bombarded with the microsoft commercials. Well - I have anyway - they're quite genius - except for I'm not sure if anyone really wants a "decision engine" and such... So the question begins with Who Gives A F***? Have you applied to BING? Do you care about BING? Have you had interestingly fabulous results on the BING search engine? Do you absolutely hate BING? Do you not even know what BING is? Are you interested in the multimillion dollar laugh (I know as bing.com) indexing your site? Have you submitted your site to BING? I'm just curious https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/ Thanks, Jacquii. |
I dont like it... Google gives me more better results and usually exactly what I am searching for.
|
I edited my post lol - question theezy... Is your site indexed in bing?
Jacquii. |
Yep.. http://www.bing.com/search?q=wober&go=&form=QBLH&qs=n
1st result. |
Yeah - I don't like it either. I loath the commercials as well and the tagline "World's first decision engine" -- I don't need a decision engine - I can make my own decisions I suppose LOL - I need a search engine - I'm a Google fan, though I'm not quite sure what I think of Google buying everything up.

Obama loves Bing... ;)
|
hmmm - so is that why I hate it? LMAO
Jacquii. |
All i know is that it was formerly live.com ?
|
It looks like Bing is just trying to out-Google Google. :erm: (Did that make sense?) Bing is still either a Crosby or a cherry in my book...

I use Bing, for me, Google's results just aren't sufficient anymore. The first links aren't the best anymore. Bing seems to be catching on. A decision engine isn't what you think it is.
|
Hmmm - I think you're the first person I know who has a positive opinion of Bing. I'm not quite sure if I agree with your assessment that "Google's results just aren't sufficient anymore" though - In fact - I highly disagree, as google always returns fabulous results for me. I think Bing is in essense Microsoft's lame attempt to get back some of the loyalty it's lost to google. I mean - there's a HUGE chunck of the populace who depend on google, then came Google Chrome and many who were users of IE chose it, and now there's talk of a google OS...? Yeah - Microsoft might be trembling in their boots perhaps IDK - but I think Bing is just a major fail.

I like bings image search because it will just keep loading more and more images no pesky page to page. On dialup bing image search engine is much nicer.

I like their Video Search. I suspect that Google will eventually do something like that down the road, as their current version kinda sucks. Other than that, I just haven't tried it too much. Don't hate it. Don't love it. It's just I have a place I already go for that. They haven't given me reason enough to change my habits.
On a related note, who here has seen the video about the guy fired for not saying Bing at the Microsoft offices enthusiastically enough? Now my wife and I now about around the house just saying Bing! for no reason. |
BING! lol - I'd love to hit the lottery and say it all year long o.O
I think I might be a hater of Microsoft perhaps? IDK lol Jacquii. |

BING is a joke imo. I get ZERO traffic from BING eventhough I rank 1st page for 80% of my keywords on one of my websites. BING will have me at #2 and GOOGLE at #187 for the same keyword. Sucks
|
well my indexed pages in google +200,000 and in Bing 450 pages!!
there indexing is s*** that why i will never use it.... in the old version of live.com at least i had 1000 pages |
I personally don't care much about Bing, but I don't hate it, it's better than what Microsoft had for a search engine before, and it's fairly accurate I guess search wise.
|
Bing has some use when I can't find what I need in Google, but then again, there is also http://www.bing-vs-google.com/ which gives side-by-side results.

Thanks for that post davidw ;) Jacquii. |
Me and the other City of Gamers are always changing places. Weird, considering they have way more traffic then I do. We're now flip-flopped on Google/Bing.

Only 2 threads on my forum lol

Bing has been doing wonders for my site, which has tanked in Google lately and nothing can save it there, SEO, unique content, etc. has all failed with Google when it once thrived. Bing seems to be picking up relative content in it's SERP's and being smart about it at the same time. So as a once time skeptic of Bing, I am now a fan.

I love Bing. Hate the name though.
The Yahoo! databse lease helps Microsoft search over a 1000x from their last unusable search engine. |
