BBR - Resize Images with lytebox v3.22
 

I will no longer support vBulletin because of IB and the agile development, and they are not fixing bugs like they should. Instead they add bloat.

Hi, first thanks for the nice mod. A problem I found with this mod is that in Firefox hovering on close button closes the image. In Chrome right after opening the image it is automatically closed.
Hoping u can fix this soon.

It don't happen on my end with firefox. I will have to install chrome to test for that. I can't imagen why it would do that. I didn't edit the javascript at all.

Do you have these same problems on the demo located on the Lytebox homepage http://www.dolem.com/lytebox/

EDIT:
I installed Google Chrome and can not re-produce this error. Nor can I re-produce your error on Firefox.

Did you clear your cache?

Yes it is for images posted with the img bbcode and also images in user signatures. If you should turn the signatures side on.

No problem here http://www.dolem.com/lytebox/ but at my forum it persists. I don't know why !

Nice mod! I don't get why vbulletin doesn't add this as an option in their software.

But..... I'm using the blog and cms products too and would like to use this mod there too.
Can anyone mod this mod so it is usable for blog and cms also? :D

New Zip File uploaded:
There is now two xml files included in the zip
One for just forums - product-bbr_imageresize_forum.xml
This one is for forums and Blog - product-bbr_imageresize_withblog.xml

This now works with Blogs.

I can not find the proper hook in the CMS for it to work on the CMS I also don't own it so I did the Blog side on Toxic2's site.

Actually I am done testing on that test site, but if you need play some more with the CMS, I will leave it up for a while before i delete it. Or if you have another Mod In mind, Like a " Thanks" button for members? feel free LOL

Thanks but I am done for now the CMS has very few hooks, I think 5 or 6 total. So we will see what happens in the next release.

The thanks button I can do right on my forums if I was to code that but I am not a fan of it.

I use the resizer mod on my vb3.8 install. When I upgrade and start using your plugin, should I have any problems?

Another approach: should this mod work on 3.8+? Or only 4.0+?

This will probably not work on 3.8 as the way it stores the css file.

To your forum root dir it says this in the read me. This means in the folder your forum is installed.

Did you set the settings in the adminCP?
You may have to clear your cache after installing this mod.

Cleared cache. Still nothing. I just installed the vb4 gold, so this is my test board at the moment. So it is unfortunately not open.

I can't help if your just saying its not working and nothing to see.

Does the image resize and lytebox not show?

Can you screenshot your CP settings.

Did you put the lytebox folder in your forum folder?
