Not everyone understands what is going on when they get an error. I knew *nothing* when I started my board. I remember a few times we got some errors that I would probably easily fix now, but back then I had to run to vb.com and vb.org to get fixed.

i remember being a so called IPB expert. lol i bet i wouldnt even know my way around the ACP anymore. But i can say when i switched to vB i was completly lost. I couldnt even install a simple plugin, and a template edit, forget it. today i think vB is much more flexable. But trust me i wouldnt have said that a cpl years ago. Just because it was all new to me. And i have no problems asking for help when i cant find an answer myself. Most times the answers are not what i was hoping to hear even if they are correct. (cough cough Lynne cough. ;) Lynne your great for giving good answers and making somebody learn how to figure it out on there own i actually hate that but when i figure it out with some direction its well worth the extra effort. :D

And hopefully you get a sense of accomplishment and feel a bit more confident on tackling the next problem, er challenge!, on your site. :)

On Topic: I don't get why you're making fun of this guy, when obviously you have some knowledge issues as well. Not everyone is perfect with understanding computer software.

Oh no, I'm not trying to make fun of you. I'm simply stating that making fun of other people for lack of knowledge isn't cool. Not everyone is tech-savvy, and not everyone will be. I don't see the point of this thread at all.

I agree with the above, but I don't care what happens in this forum. I'm new here and have been reading the version 3 discussion forums for a month or so now and I'm surprised at the amount of LOLing and general making fun of posts that goes on.
