When i connect to my admincp, i don't see there the server load stuff,
the only thing i have is how many users connected right now but there is now server load stats, do you know why?

check your servers safe mode setting

Alexey? 12-04-2009 02:34 PM

Php safe mode
or just safe mode?
and what should i see?

Lynne 12-04-2009 02:44 PM

If you are on shared hosting, sometimes you can't see it.

Alexey? 12-04-2009 05:59 PM

I do on a shared hosting, what can i tell to my hoster so i'll see the server load.?

what should he do so i can see it?

Lynne 12-04-2009 06:15 PM

I have no idea as I've never had that problem. Can you see the server loads if you do 'top' in a shell? Or do you not have shell access?

You turn on Admin Control panel quick statistics?

Secure Shell

Alexey? 12-05-2009 04:25 PM

I do not have access to the ssh

Lynne 12-05-2009 04:47 PM

I guess I would ask the host how you can see the top stats (the server loads). Maybe he has something set so you can't see them and you just have to ask and he will enable it.

Alexey? 12-05-2009 05:43 PM

ok,
What are a normal server load stats?
and what are a high server load stats?

Lynne 12-05-2009 07:35 PM

It depends on the server. It used to be that you ideally didn't want to go above 1. But now, depending on the number of processors, that number could be 2 or 4 or ??

Alexey? 12-06-2009 05:18 AM

2 i think

vBulletin Options> Admin Control Panel Options

then?

Lynne 12-06-2009 02:57 PM

That option doesn't not turn on your server loads. If the server loads aren't showing, it is something you need to talk to your host about - it isn't a vb setting.

I was reffering to the Quick Stats that show in index.php of the AdminCP.

I know, but I think the OP was thinking he had to turn that on in order to get the loads and I'm just pointing out that that is not true.

(And boy did I manage to mangle up my post... "doesn't not turn on"?!?!? )

ChopSuey 12-07-2009 12:04 AM

Don't worry, im sure there are others. (looks at post count)
