Mobile Style Options 3.8
 

This is identical to the 3.7 version in form and function - it is released here to (hopefully) minimise confusion and teh number of requests for a "3.8" version. You do not need to upgrade.

This is an add-on for the 3.8 version of my Mobile style. If you do not have this style installed, it is of no use to you!

It adds options to your vBulletin Options for customizing:

• Optionally adds links to default style (in footer or navbar)
• Optionally add 'Posted Via Mobile' message to new posts/threads (message can be customised)
• Optionally display "What's Going On" box in forum home
• Optionally display Style Chooser in footer
• Set 'Home' link URL (rather than editing templates)
• Can hide mobile style from Style Chooser

Install the latest Mobile style from teh save vBulletin version (link above - should have same version number as this addon, but may have a different alpha char on end of version number)

Install this add-on and set your options

Works great for all phones but Blackberry. Doesnt seem to detect its user agent. Can you please look into this?

This is just an add-on for the mobile style which adds a few customisations to teh style without the need to edit templates - it doesn't do detection.

This mod does not provide identification of mobile devices. This is an expansion of that modification.

I just want yo show recent topics on my mobile version. How can I arrange only my Mobile version style ?

where do I set the options?..

doesn't work. I try to upload and it says invalid file specified.

I got Plugins & Products, click Manage Products, Add/Import Product, then select the file and i get the error message.

love the plugin, but it's causing issues on our forum.

when the plugin is enabled, our users are unable to switch between Forum Style Skins.

we had to uninstall it unfortunately.

Got this plugin working perfectly along with mobile device detection.
Is there a way I can show a mobile icon in the postbit legacy rather than having 'Posted by mobile device' at the bottom of each post.
I just think a little image icon would look tidier. Thanks.

I've installed all of this, both the "mother" progra, and this addon.

But I am not able to get mobile detection to work.

How do you get detections to work, so it find mobile devices as visiting devices?

Also, I can find the Mobile Stle Options in the Vbulletin Options but I can not set any settings based on Iphone, Windows Mobile, etc, which I am sure I read somewhere :)

Can anyone explain?

How in the world do you "add-on" the add-on? My php VB guru is out of town. I got the mobile css style installed and working, but can't figure out how to do the Mobile Style Options add-on. Do I add it to the style? overwrite or child or do I add it somehow else?

Wish there was a way we could view VM's from mobile styles. :(
