Installed but it is not working.

Tried to gain access to admincp using fake info and no e-mail was sent. Verified settings in the admincp options and everything is set correctly.

OK this mod does work i can confirm that.

To help some of you get it working that are having problems you mus follow this carfully.

I tryed a few times and was ready to give up and unistall then i managaged to get it right.

first try i put
Code:

http://www.YOURDOMAINNAME.com/forum/admincp
then i realised i changed my admincp to a diferen directory so i canged it to

Code:

http://www.YOURDOMAINNAME.com/forum/DIFERENTcp
and it still didnt work :(

then i looked at the address when i try to login and i realised it has a trailing slash so i added that and BINGO it worked so for most of you it will be

Code:

http://www.YOURDOMAINNAME.com/forum/admincp/
This is very important or it will not work.

if you cant get it right just click your admin link and copy the address from the login page then it should work.

Hope this helps some of you.

Installed, didn't work. Checked the above suggestions, reinstalled - still not working. Shame, as I'd really like this.

Version 4.0.2

josantos 02-21-2010 12:03 PM

Awesome thanks, it definitely works once you add the /index.php to the end of the address.
Installed

tankkiller 02-22-2010 02:48 AM

Awesome!! Works great! Thank You!!

sticky 02-22-2010 07:53 AM

Tried everything just can't get it to work...

lemonadesoda 02-22-2010 03:47 PM

Nice mod. However, I would suggest for (proper) tracking it should include BOTH success and fail. Wouldnt you want to track/audit someone who HAD the password, but shouldnt. Therefore the email should be sent for all cases, and would show SUCCESS or FAIL to login.

worldwidereefer 02-24-2010 04:02 AM

not working !!

justindwhite 02-25-2010 05:35 PM

If you can't get it to work, try putting a slash after the url on your AdminCP URL. Thats what fixed it for me.

http://yoursite.com/forums/admincp - Did not work
http://yoursite.com/forums/admincp/ - Worked!

I got it to work using this.

AliMadkour 03-03-2010 04:19 AM

now version 2 released!

Videx 03-03-2010 12:41 PM

Can we get a quick explanation of the new options in v2?

Admin usernames seems obvious. Now I can enter any number of names, both admins and moderators (or anyone?), and this mod will trigger on them.

But what is "Forum Encoding"? I see the default is "windows-1256" whatever that is. I've never heard of this, but a quick web search seems to indicate this should not be the default for English. Where do I find out what encoding my forum uses?

PS there's a bug in the English version of this line:
Quote:

Separate each admin using " ?Π" comma
