Description:

This will add a mini statistic to your Forum Home under Whats Going On.
It will display the "Today's Top Poster(s) on Forum Home" in your vBulletin forums.

Features:

1. Enable or Disable Todays top poster(s) modification
2. Today's top poster(s) limit to how many today's top poster showing
3. Today's top poster(s) exclude certain users
4. Today's top poster(s) exclude certain usergroups
5. Today's top poster(s) exclude certain forums
6. Added an option to include a list of allowed usergroups so we'll be able to configure it in order to make visible only for selected usergroups
7. Today's top poster(s) - Rolling 24 Hours
8. Today's top poster(s) Dispay Pictures
9. Changed Today's top poster(s) layout to new better look
10. Add 1 query to forumhome

Installation:

just import the todays_top_poster.xml product file via admincp -> product manager -> import/export products

Tested on:

• vBulletin 4.0.x
• vBulletin 4.2.2 Beta 3

This is now broke in the new vb beta 5 .

Yep, it doesn't format correctly.

To fix it, in todays_top_poster template, find: class="collapse".

Replace with: class="wgo_subblock".

It doesn't work fine with Right to Left Styles

Installed, VB4.0 Gold.

this mod will not work correctly on vB 4.0 Beta 4
this mod is for vB 4.0 RC 4 released and will work on vB 4.0 Gold too
will fix the problem on arabic styles

I've just a little problem : only my avatar is not displaying !?! i'm admin, my avatar is OK everywhere in the forum BUT NOT with this hack. Im the only one with no avatar !

Works great although I added a userid to be excluded and that user is still in the list.

I edited the plugin with the query and hardcoded the userid I wanted excluded and the user still shows in the list. I'm thinking it's a problem with the query. No time to investigate further though.

As a quick fix I just added

as the first line in the while loop just to skip that user for now.

I found 2 mistakes on the phrases:

1) $vbphrase[setting_todays_top_posters_photos_desc]
You wrote twice "or if none"

2) $vbphrase[setting_todays_top_posters_photos_title]
There is no text :)

Got a fix for this? I don't like having hacky code (my fix) running on my forum.

admin avatar also not showing for me and excluded user & group also not working.
