Migrated to new server...now we can't get vBulletin to work.

Just finished transferring to a new dedicated server and now we are unable to post or reply or create a new thread, etc. See the screen shot below. All of the data transferred, but for some reason any url that has the ....forum part in the url, won't work.

I think it has something to do with the php handlers and mime types, but I can't seem to figure it out.

New server url for our forums is http://174.120.193.17/~heartsf2/memb...load/index.php.

Use the following:

Log in: User
PW: Demo

to log in and see what is not working.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I probably don't know anything that would help, but I have some questions: What happens, do you get an error? Do you go through all the right pages but things don't add, or does it not go to the add pages?

Did you try debug mode or look at any logs to see if there are errors?

Didn't run the debug yet. Will try that. In answere to your questions: No error message, just nothing happens. It's like the Post Reply or Thread buttons are dead. We can type in info, add photos...etc, but when we click to submit or post...nothing happens.

Other issues now with the server so it may be a while before I can work on it.

Try to reupload all your .js file.

From what you describe, I'm not sure debug mode would tell you anything anyway.

This probably doesn't help much, but I think that means that your server is sending you the php file instead of running it (so I guess it's some kind of configuration issue).

Yes, I think you are correct. Anyone know of any possible fixes??? What to check???

I don't mean to be rude or anything, just trying to help.
Do you have PHP installed? xD

(Deleted - see below).

^^^ That's a fair question. Looks like you're using Apache? Are you configuring that yourself? If so, you might look here: http://us2.php.net/manual/en/install.unix.apache2.php otherwise you'd need to contact whoever is in charge of that.

I wouldn't follow those instructions... the server appears to be running cpanel if you start installing things manually you'll end up with a royal pain in the ass to sort out later. (eg reinstalling your OS more than likely...)

OK, thanks.

Update: it appears that the "newreply.php?do=" and the "newthread.php?do=" are working for some users or user groups, but NOT working for admin usergroup members. Permissions are all in order, but don't know why the admin usergroup can't post or reply????

We believe that the problem is associated with an api call in the FB Connect add-on. It appears that anyone who has created an associated log in with FaceBook, can't post or reply to a post.

We are waiting for additional info from the vBulletin tech support to verify. All this may indicate, if verified, is that when changing servers, the api call routines may not work until you also change your dns over to the new servers.

More info to follow...
