Ok so i have had like a big increase in geusts but all to a few forums and all within the last few days

are they bots?

look at the forum babes etc - www.manlystuff.com - CONTAINS ADULT IMAGES!

Probably bots, if they stay on the register page more than 5 minutes they're bots.

they've been on for a few days!

this good or bad?

do i need to do anything/

Its probably google trying to index your pages. No worries its all good. Maybe some old guy that enjoys lookin at your forum or something.

y not i don't use adds to pay for the site all the user's pay for it

^they will get you indexd higher on google etc!

No, you should be glad to have real members as not all bots are by google or msn and some attempt cookie stuffing on many sites etc. There's always more to it then simply brushing it under the rug ;)

can someone actually look at mine and see what they are please?

turn on who's online for guests for a few so we can see

but is there a way to stop them they hit my site all the time and don't mind just figured it's our place we should have the say who we want on our site

You can search their IP on Google to see if they are bots. Some are real people.

DONE!


so what are they?

Most of hose are human visitors. if you want to stop most of that, hide thread views to guests in usergroup manager so guests have to login or register to see.

They do show on Google Analytics. LOL
