Boost your forum's profit with three or more different streams of income when you implement the Forum Yield Affiliate Rewriter.

When members enter Amazon, eBay, or Commission Junction links in their posts, they are automatically rewritten with your Affiliate ID in the link for that particular network.

• eBay links, it adds your Campaign ID
• Amazon Links it adds your Associate ID
• Commission Junction links it adds your PID

You can also have it rewrite posts so keywords or phrases of your choice will be affiliate links from these or different networks. Case sensitivity may be turned on or off in the settings.

A popular use of the keyword rewriting section is to link keywords to the search form of your affiliate's website with your affiliate id this way you can have it search for numerous different product names automatically when they click the link with each search term changed to the keyword.

If you have users with premium memberships who do not wish to see the keywords rewritten, you can disable keyword rewriter for those groups in the settings.

Requires import of a single xml file, no uploads to the filesystem.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. However, I had to uninstall because it's buggy:

1. I can't edit my post with the link in it.
2. I get this error on the top of newreply.php "Warning: strpos() [function.strpos]: Empty delimiter in [path]/includes/class_bbcode.php(2463) : eval()'d code on line 42"

What version of vBulletin are you using and have you tried disabling all the other plugins?
I just tested it on a fresh install of both 3.6.8 and 3.8.1 im about to test on the latest 3.8

I just did a fresh install of 3.8.4 and tested it, I got no errors upon editing the post with the links in it nor did I get an error on newreply...

How many ressources does this addons need?

How could I find out? All it does is add a plugin with a function in it that is called when the bb code parser parses a URL... then the function takes text of the url and link of it and detects what type of link it is and adds corresponding id's...

I'm using 3.8.4. It's a fresh install with 'automatic thread tagger" plugin.

A short question, can eBay DE be added?

I get on a blank installation following error:

I tried the "Go Advanced" function...

Ahh I think I figured out what the problem was

It would use strpos to see if it the associate or whatever id is already in the url to know whether its rewritten already or not and if the box was empty, php gave a warning message

So I made it only do a strpos if those boxes are not empty. :)

Also I have added DE to the list

It also does modifications only if it can find the url

Hopefully that will fix it I am about to re-upload the product in a minute

Another bug I found.
Is it possible that the keyword rewriting doesn?t parse a URL-BB-Code?
I had for example:
Thermoflaschen and http://cgi.ebay.de/Reer-Edelstahl-Wa...d=p3286.c0.m14 was printed out without an clickable bb-code...

And is it normal that this rewriting (keyword) only is available with a new thread?
And not with a reply?

I just put a new fix for urls that were being wordwrapped were having double spaces put into them also i tested it with someones really colorful link-filled signature to make sure the bbcode would appear in the text

How do you mean? If you do this as admin and remove 6 from the list of blocked rewriting groups it should work in both newthread and newreply

I have tried amazon affiliate link and find one problem.

The first link is a working link with one tag-id inside. After using rewriter, it adds one more tag id when the tag-id in the original link does not match what mod has. Therefore, the second link includes two different tag-id which generates conflict and cannot open Amazon web page. The problem only occurs when the link lead to the page with multiple products.

In addition, it seems to me, the mode does not try to replace any tag. However, this function is important since users may copy and paste link from other website which includes their own tag-id. We may want to remove their affiliate information and substitute with our own tag-id.

By the way, do you plan to add Google affiliate and link share? I really love to see these functions.

find one more problem

When I post an article, the mod rewrites my url but also adds one image (associated with that partner) in front of the link (see attachment). After I edit that article and delete the image, the image does not show up again. Any solution for this problem?

Keyword Rewriting still doesn´t work for me...

I get the error: Call to undefined function: str_ireplace() in /forums/includes/class_postbit.php(294) : eval()'d code on line 70

I'm running 3.8.4

Edit: It's not the mod, I forgot to change the .htaccess to enable PHP5 when I upgraded the forum software from 3.6 to 3.8

The header on this page says it's version 2.0.0, but when I download and install from the link, it's only 1.0.0?

I'm having 1 of 2 problems with links... either the link does not redirect anywhere and it just ends up being a blank page, or it redirects to a "Sorry, the link you clicked is no longer active" message. Both are using solely the CJ integration.

Thoughts or ideas?

I received this email a few days ago. Guess ebay partner network doesn't like this mod. I'm very angry with ebay for not even letting me know that there was a problem first; this is how I funded my site. I've attempted to reply to the email to get more answers, but I've gotten no response as of yet.

I would disable this plugin if your running it and rebuild post cache. I removed it until we get updated with the new Ebay impression serving path.

Im thinking about adding this but I need one more bit of functionality.

Can you make this so that RSS posts from Ebay and Amazon are also linked to the Ebay , Amazon and so on affiliate ID's.

If you can pull that off Ill be more then happy to make a donation. :D

UPDATE: Seems the rewritter is not working now for some reason,it may just be for me (admin) but i will keep a check on it and see if i can provide any useful info

This mod should be removed immediately. This is definitely against the TOS for eBay and all other affiliate networks.

Already had one user's account terminated from eBay. Maybe we need a couple more before this becomes a problem. But cloaking or changing links to make it look like something else is not going to fly with eBay and they are quick to terminate accounts.

Im still using it :D The new update added a ebay tracking tag thing, also to reply to something above, I believe it does both posts and threads when it rewrites...

How much users have been kicked by epn for using this method?

@Kolbi -I've not had any problems of being kicked from affiliated programs...been using it for about 4 months or better now. Just don't do an overkill and make it rewrite every word as a link and you should be fine.

Is a vB4 version planned?

Why does in your rewritten ebay urls never appears the pub id?

And why do you use the java version of the individuell link?

Use the HTML version because it is xhtml valid!

Is there we possibility to save the keyword replacements in the database and not only overwrites it then viewing the topic?
I mean the replacement should be safed and not be loaded every time.
