You guys know that vBulletin comes with an ad templates group right?
Totally useless product. The product release post above here doesn't explain what it does, why this product is needed, what the features are. It just says: ads here.. two ads here .. in a screenshot and displays an ad on the forumhome. Why not use the built in templates? Why not explain why this is needed? .. Even the screenshot shows this is a "alpha" untested release, poor translation, typing errors, etc. vBulletin 3.8 is trans 1.0 xhtml coded, can you please respect this? <br> <center> .. Another example, it's a tag is linked to anchor #top, why? Sorry, I find this terrible, but thank you for sharing your work, I just don't understand why this is needed, or why it's version 1.0. If the purpose of this product is to add additional ad spots to the forumhome, because vbulletin doesn't have those in 3.8, please specify this in the description. This is just a guessing game right now. |
look good thanks

No, it's not obvious.
Because someone still has to put the code in a textbox, it doesn't matter if it is a plugin or a default template. vB already has a template, .. why use a plugin? |
you came out HARD on this one...lol

Sooo where and how do you set up this default template? |
you just have to look in your template in admincp
|
-ad location template
and you can extend that and you'll have al the template with the name for example footer (for obviously footer) header etc edit they are all blank input your advertisement and voila! |
admincp > styles > ad templates group > find the right template and put the code in there.
instead of the plugin: admincp > plugin options > right text area > and put the code in there .. shrug, it's all the same to me. |
I just wanted to say this is a great plugin, i dont know coding and when i tried to use the template edits it put the ad up but with no way of changing its orientation for example it touches the top of the forum and leaves a gap between it and the navbar.
This places it exactly where i want it |
the bad thing about plugin is you have enough as it is!
|
Which is?
|
Read the millions of articles in the article forum here that talks about where what and why about plugins.
You'll get an answer to everything you will or asking me. Just imagine adding 1 plugin for everything you want to do? can you have an idea on how many plugin you would have at the end? and when it comes to time to upgrade and trying to figure out what's messing up your forum? |

Your post is so rude and useless. First, Maybe we should be more patient-friendly for the ones who are the newbies doing their first xml or modifications. As you know, so many vbulletin owners just get the vbulletin license without knowing anything about codes. Maybe they don't want to use vbulletin default ads template or want to cover their ads table/border. Am I right? Need to more prompting for newbies, especially non-native English Writer or Speaker users! "This is just a guessing game right now" blabla |
Maybe worth installation.
Still testing some possibilities. |
amazing mods
