This template edit will make any adsense code or even any advertisement code run beside and embedded in the first post of showthread

1- Markedly increases CTR

you should notice that you can edit values in Green to suit your ad.
float : right or left ... as you like
width : ad width in pixels (usually give some extra 3 or 5 pixles for better look)
height : ad height in pixels (usually give some extra 3 or 5 pixles for better look)

PS: One issue with this template mod is that the Quote button inside the post no longer appears at the bottom of the page when the size (height) of the text in the post is less than the height of the placement.

Try making your div tag height and width larger than your ad-unit size.

this easy
first i recommend using small ads like 200X200
OR
find : ____________
this is put before signature in post bit
then before it add some lines, just click Enter, make some lines
this will make space for ads

This is an awesome placement for an ad, but it will get screwed up on my fixed width forum is someone puts a large picture in the first post. Is there anyway a conditional could scan to see if an image is present in the post and to not display the ad if there is an image?
