Display Post Count as Roman Numerals
1 Attachment(s)
A small add-on I use on my board just for laughs and giggles. This will disaply post counts in the postbit in Roman Numerals (however a mouse over will show the actual number).
eg: if a user has "101" posts, it will disaply as "CI" 2022 posts - "MMXXII" etc ... I just found my postbit had too many numbers and this broke it up a bit and is also educational :) Pretty simple really - one plugin, no template edits. Install XML and enable in "vBulletin Options->vBulletin Options->Roman Numerals Post Count" Version Control 0.0.1 - Initial Release! This will likely work on previous version of vBulletin |
My readers will hate this. :D

I've installed it - thanks man - will wait to see how long it lasts with my members.
|
I'm using this, it seems cool. Thanks.
|
Would be cool on a Roman forum, that's for sure ;)
|
nice.
should be fun using it |
works well so far

That's one of an interesting thing for a roman number.
If you like to upgrade your mod, try this PHP (Mod) from me: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=222112 This will do the same but I will show the 5000 as a "overline V". Best regards |
no need to "upgrade" this shows an overscored V for 5000, an overscored X for 10000, and (god forbid) overscored L for 50,000 and C for 100,000! Actually, it was seeing yours that made think of actually publishing it - I've been using this one for a while...

This is really funny and random, I am going to install it later. I think the members on my forum will actually like it.

as everyone else said....i've installed it and will wait to see how long it takes before my users complain about it LOL

I like very much this modification, is something different from other forums and funny! But some users ask to me if it's possible make this optional like some option in the UCP for users. That would be great..
|
I'm unlikely to make that change. Did you tell your users that if they hover their mouse over the roman numerals it shows the number?
|
Thanks, I didn't know that :)
