Don't know if a modification exists already but do a search on the OnCopy Javascript Event. That will give you an idea on how this is done. It will only work though if the user's clipboard can be manipulated via Javascript.

I'm sure it was called leech prevention or hidden backlinks.. something like that. It worked in a similar way.

Am I being dumb I dont get it

You need to go to https://tcr1.tynt.com/tracer/log_in and create an account, follow the instructions and it will generated a script that you should put in before </body> tag on Forumhome, Forumdisplay and in every page that you are interested in to have this feature if somebody copy the content of. At first it was working only on Forumhome until I figure and copied the script on different templates, I'm just a newbie and not developer or anything, I don't see any ads or anything wrong.

This is so cool....

I contacted VBSEO about doing this in the next update they said the mod here on the vborg is not a good idea for seo but the Tynt is the way to go and its further developed than VBSEO so i should use that , so i signed up and its great no ads or anything and a full on control pannel that tracks what was copied from your site and more , very awesome stuff for sure.

So placing Tynt Tracer in the headerinclude template isn't good? What template(s) need to have the Tynt Tracer code put in so this works?

Just place it in what templates you want to track before the closing BODY tags as the instructions on the Tynt site state. It's up to you which pages you want to track.
