You'll have to ask the modification's author.

john102774 06-11-2009 09:53 PM

I'm getting this error message when trying to upload the module.

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in [path]/admincp/vba_cmps_admin.php on line 3947

The file you have uploaded is not a valid module file.

I'm using vb3.8.2 vBadvanced CMPS v3.2.0

wickedstangs 06-12-2009 05:32 AM

Same issue here as above

bananalive 06-12-2009 09:54 AM

Fixed in v1.4. Download from first post.

john102774 06-13-2009 08:01 PM

hotrod122 06-15-2009 11:52 PM

I want to show just one article on CMPS, figured that out...but how do i make it show more of the article?
right now it just shows like maybe 25 words or so.
Thanks!

Do you get the same error on articles.php?

I have tested it on my forum with a thread of over 20 replies and it doesn't (and shouldn't) affect it.

vbulletin Options -> Article forum Options -> Default Sort Order -> Yes

Then Change forum settings
Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum

Default Sort Field: Thread start time
Default sort order: Ascending

Hi, I tried to do this (raised it to 100), but it still shows 25 or so words... The change takes affect though on articles.php, so it's only the vba that has the problem.

I also tried to go into the vba options, edit the module, and change the Maximum Characters of Thread Title to Display as high as 1000 but it still shows 25 words. What am I doing wrong?

HoneyHaHa 06-25-2009 05:40 AM

You have yet again delivered another gem to the community.

Installed and nominated.

Could you make a version to be used on any external page? I have a custom home page written and I can usually break down a vba module to be used but this one looks a bit more complicated :/, I think a lot of people may find it useful to be able to include it in to a custom written page. Any help would be thankful!

ade5675 07-05-2009 04:42 AM

Nice mod as usual, bananalive

*** installed ***

Martyn1983 07-08-2009 07:41 PM

Top notch!

Quick query - on the portal, where the items of news are listed you have 'by (author)' - where about is this text listed for making minor alterations? For example, I'd like it to perhaps say 'Posted by...Author'

Cheers

Feanor_87 07-12-2009 12:13 AM

Great Mod, works perfect, thanks! :)

Is there anyway to show the HTML Markup on the usernames?

Bram H 07-13-2009 09:33 PM

would it be possible to outline the thumbnails to the right bananalive?

vgevolution 07-13-2009 10:06 PM

Hmm, it would be nice to be able to choose which categories this pulls articles from for the listing. That would make it VERY useful.

Thanks for that too,, you could add it to af_articlebit like I did and looks great there too

rasp187 07-19-2009 01:18 AM

This looks great but I am having a slight problem. For some reason it's not displaying any of the thread information on the main page. It shows the title, an image, and the author, but no information of what's contained within the thread. I've played around with numerous settings and still can't figure it out. The website is www.thecatacombs.net

Thank you.

I'm maybe having a thick moment, but I cant find the line to change in any of the template files!

38modify 07-20-2009 02:21 AM

Hi all. First of all this mod was excellent!! Works perfect for what I needed. I am wondering however... I need 2 news type deals (For seperate pages)

I can only select 1 forum to be the news in my admin cp. Is there anyway to do more than 1? as in how could I get 2 to 3 other forurm categories on my site to do the same thing?

Thanks in advance.
