thanks mod was making some error i disabled it 1 error is gone but the above posted error still exists.
At the top of your error, doesn't it say what vb version it thinks you are running? And when you last upgraded, did you run the upgrade.php script?
YEs it does say
Database error in vBulletin 3.7.3: n i did run the upgrade.php script. Edit - Error comes up only when i try to click on button "new thread" |
That query is from the function fetch_prefix_array in the function_prefix.php file for version 3.8.0. The table prefixpermission as not in that query for vb 3.7.3. So, it seems you either have a modification using a 3.8.0 query or a file that is for 3.8.0.
How do i fix it ?
Well, it looks to me like you are running a 3.8.0 page with a 3.7.3 database. What version of vbulletin do you think you have installed?
I have installed 3.7.3 n it was fine till now but after i changed hosts this has been a problem.
Redownload the 3.7.3 vbulletin files and reupload the function_prefix.php file from that package. If you continue to get the error, then I'm guessing you installed a mod for 3.8 that has that query in it and that is causing the problem. You will have to go through your mods and see which one is making that query.
