Quick Auto Image-Resize (Posts & Signature)
 

Here's a very simple mini-mod that will resize all images in posts & signatures by using a max-width css attribute, along with an onclick function to open the normal-sized picture in a new window.

This product is super simple and has only a few lines of code. Keep in mind that as far as I know, max-width still gets rendered a tad off on IE (not much of a fan with ie anyway, but that's beside the point) on certain versions. Although i tested on IE7 with only a few images and it didn't look so bad at all. Perfect for me on firefox, chrome, etc.

Install
1. Import Product
2. Set a Maximum Width in Admincp, under Quick Auto Image-Resize (Posts & Signature)

This really is just a simple mini-mod. Nothing too fancy at all. Had someone who wanted the resizing done strictly with css and suggested I do something like this and offer it as well - so here ya go.

Can someone link over a thread with an example? I'm testing on a client's website ATM, but it basically just resizes the image and allows you to click on 'em.

I'll try and incorporate a max-height in there as well sometime, when I get a chance.

Doesn't work with vBadvanced. :s

Forced to Uninstall. Makes EVERY picture in posts and threads a link regardless of size. Also conflicts with Photo Popup

Works fine for me, does the job I need it to.

Works great! But I would like to remove the link to the original image. I just need the image resized. Can you let me know how to do this?

Our board would just like the bigger images resized to a more forum friendly size :)

He means he expected the Quick Auto Resize in posts and signature to auto-resize images in all other locations other than threads. At least that's what I believe he means :p

Hi!

I have a little problem with this Add-on!
I've deinstalled the Add-on yesterday but all the images (Membermap, posts, albums) are still resized to 600px width.
Can somebody help me with my problem??

Great mod, but have a problem when I reply to topic that have some huge image in ( that is auto resized ) my forum gets stretched thru to roof.

Any chance for the pic to get auto resized on reply too ?
