What you think?
My forum is www.Inperfection.org.
I hope some of you join and like it. The site is a gaming website and i hold competitions weekly or monthly for free domains (co.uks) or webhosting as i have a re-seller this month there will be a couple i opened the website the other day and i have decided to give the first person to 100 posts a xbox live membership gold for 1 month so thats just the kind of forum i have join, review have fun! |
too much games, too much forums, same boring 3rd party style that all the fps sites are using...
so your site is boring... and your contest is pointless, nobody need a domain hosting no more... we do not play fps for a domain name, this is just spamming for hosts...pathetic. |

The site aint bad m8 i like the style a lot - looks good. Not much to actually see though at moment as u hardly have any content but if u stick with it,it could be worth visiting in the future. |
lasto, you like the style, i like it too, but it's not a custom style that represent the site owner, it's a 3rd party style anybody can buy for 25$, so to me it is like using the default vBulletin style...
also, i'm not policing.. this forum is about giving reviews of what we think... if people do not want negative reviews, they just have to rest at home. |

I help run a gaming site... Style is nice in terms of graphics, yes I have seen it before and some enjoy hosting & domains but try to change it up a little or show them what they can do with it ;). Remove some of the forums until you gain more members. S-MAN |

What makes a website worthy of a great review? IMO, customized, unique design will go a long way. Stand out of the crowd and you'll get noticed. Blend in with the crowd and you get overlooked. It's really that simple. Stuff like forums, cms's, blog software, etc make it so simple to get up and going on the web that you don't have to have any sort of idea on how things work, or how to design, or how to code.. but you're left with being part of a majority. It's up to YOU to decide if you want to be minority or not. Being part of the majority is boring. Very boring. And if someone stating that gets called out for giving bad reviews, then I don't really know what else to say. |
The style he has on his forum may be used on loads more forums but its the 1st time ive seen that style so my view is based upon that.
KK his board needs a lot more work and input but he will get out what he puts in. |
Well, I tried to go to the site and the connection timed out. It appears to be some kind of DNS error, because the time out occurred while looking up the domain name.
|
i think he did not expect my review, he closed his server... ;)

The domain is still not resolving.
Regardless of that, and this is to the OP. Take everything with a pinch of salt with the comments made in here, call it tough love but don't let that deter you from tweaking your forum to perfection whether it's customizing template, adding scripts creating images or a thousand other implementations that I can't think of right now. Anyway, when and if you do resolve this domain issue I'll be back to give your forum a critique and count your lucky chickens I'm not having a bad day when that times comes. :) okay, I'm kidding, I like to think i give fair reviews. ;) 1 suggestion, get that domain resolving and pointing correctly to your site. So I can see why nexy is giving you such a hardtime. |
nice godaddy page..... i hate godaddy, just a review, will check back later
