Friendship Path
 

This Add-on displays the Friendship-Path (A is friend of B is friend of C ...) between the vieweing and displayed user on user pfofile pages in the 'Friends' tab.

Compatibility
vBulletin 3.7.0 or higer is required
PHP 5 is required

Branding
This modification displays a copyright notice (branding) in the footer of user profile pages.
You are not allowed to remove this branding!
Infromation on obtaining a branding free license can be found in readme.txt

Why would the copyright be in every single footer tab in memberinfo, when in reality all this does is add a little extra functionality to the friends tab.

If the mod is expanded, and actually created a : degrees of connection "family tree" structure then I would reinstall.

I agree about the copyright, it's too intrusive, it's not even worded correctly since, when on that page, it implies the entire site is "Powered by..."

It also messes my footer up which is designed to hold four lines of text, adding a fifth breaks the design.

If copyright is really needed, tiny text in the area of the modification would just about be ok.

But for fairly small additions like this, I'm against copyright notices. It's ok on entirely new features, eg arcades, Paul M's top poster page, etc, or for styles. But if you start adding it to very minor tweak people's sites look a mess.

If you mind the branding simply don't use it or get a branding free license :-)

A whole license for this small addition to members profiles? No thank you.

I think it would be much more acceptable if it only displayed the copyright in the bottom of the friends tab. But to have your copyright across the bottom of every member profile is just ridiculous.

You need to provide some screenshots on how this works. It won't be possible to test it reliably on a test server with minimal data. Without viewing how it works, its not possible to determine if its worth the branding free.

I'm also not installing because of the branding.

Looks interesting to me, but the branding for such small functionality really is too much.
