[WHAT IS IT?]
kBank is a money system for your vBulletin Board with a lot of feature (listed below). With kBank, your members will try to post as much as possible (even spam) to earn points to get cool items or to be the richest man in the world :D You will love it!

Can users purchase a usergroup subscription using their credits with this modification? Also, can vbcredits credits be tranferred to this?

I know this might sound harsh >.< but does this works like vbPlaza? like ribbons and such?

I've just downloaded kBank 2.1, and uploaded all the files there. That seems to have fixed the problem. I had just one error...
Edit: That fixed the Admin Panel problem, but created more errors on the forum page. I've been able to uninstall for now though.

Playing around 3.8.2 and still don't understand why you get that error :(

How strange... I'm guessing it could clash with another product. I'm using vBadvanced if that makes any difference.

Okay, a couple of issues.

1) No default item types or items are included. When the user goes to kbank>kShop they get the error: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [path]/kbank/helper_item_search_process.php on line 113. I assume because there are no items.
2) When I try to create an itemtype from the admincp, so I can create an item, I get this error: Some UserID can not be found!
3) I cannot find where I import vbCredits.

You mean for usergroup subscription? If support usergroup subscriptions, it will not be an itemtype :D

1. Yes, you are right
2. You get that message maybe because you enter invalid userid into "Owner UserID". If you are testing, you can leave it blank
3. Just go to kBank Settings page and use credits as database field and everything will be fine

FYI: Queries count:

• Always run
  • Datastore (itemtypes cache, warning items cache, announces, top richest) = 1 query
  • Current User Items (active & inactive, only run if Items enabled) = 1 query
  • Smilies Cache (BBCode Parser) = 1 query
• By script (common queries only)
  • [index] 24h online list (can be disabled) = 1 query
  • [index, forumdisplay, usercp] Moderators' userid (only run if show moderator column & Items enabled) = 1 query
  • [index, forumdisplay, usercp] Cache active items of moderators and online users (can be skiped) = 1 query
  • [showthread, showpost] Load awarded/thanked (only run if Awarding enabled) = 1 query
  • [showthread, showpost] Cache usernames for awarded/thanked (only run if Awarding enabled & show username) = 1 query
  • [showthread, showpost] Cache active items of posters (only run if Items enabled) = 1 query

Okay, so far I like it. It's going to take some work and skill to setup a bunch of itemtypes and items, with graphics and proper ids set and all that. I will work on it as I have time and share my results.

Maybe you will find the award/thank stuffs useful also (if you haven't tried it out). Hehe :D

Nice mod! :) I didn't get any images in the download though, it seems there is supposed to be a “thanks” image that goes here: images/buttons/kbank_thank.gif.

Also is there anyway to disable the who visited in 24h mod?
And how can I set the required amount for the [hide] tags? When ever I use them now it just asks for any amount.

In regards to a paid subscriptions and this mod...

If a forum has pictures or music or some other item which can be downloaded, can this mod somehow monetize the downloads based upon a subscription?

For example, a subscriber purchases a $10.00 subscription. Forum has pictures or music or some other items for download which, when a paid subscriber downloads that item, would have the value of that downloaded item deducted from subscribers account until the subscribers paid subscription is zero or at a point where subscriber cannot purchase anything further until he/she renews paid subscription.

There are actually 3 buttons missing (so far).

I did these in the style of my board, but they are based off the vbulletin default. Photoshop layered psd files are in the attached zip.

could this be used to buy files downloads from user to user? Like a I post a file with scans of something and sell it to other users for k$? thanks!!

You definitely need to have more things installed/configured by default IMHO as it's not easy to setup.

Here are some more images to help out if anyone wants them. They cover the basic item types that come with the mod.

Setup properly this mod will allow users to create custom usernames, titles, enable special large avatars, or animated avatars. If you like that kind of thing, as I do, it's worth some effort.

Attached is a text file with all named html colors ready to copy and paste into the itemtype field for username colors. Sadly, the item type field is a varchar limited to 255 characters and not a text field. Hopefully that will be changed soon.

Actually, I did a plugin to make DownloadsII work with kBank exactly the way you mentioned. It's possible but it's a paid work (or I will decide to make a lite version later)
