Topic: nexialys' portfolio and support forum...
Target: any vBulletin forum owner...

The site is actually more my portfolio than a vBulletin support forum, because we are not providing any support for general usage of vBulletin. The only support offered on it is related to my/our products.

Style is basic, colors were added just to make a transition between the default style and some identity. So the styles does not need a real review, but you can always say what you think.

Forum structure... because it's a support site, mainly, do you think the forums, their topics and the structure is good?

I try to make the site a showroom for our engines and products, so there is a lot of custom addons displayed and to be installed in the next weeks, as i'm releasing at least one new product each 2 or 3 days...

What do you think of the principle of taking-over some products that are from other coders who left the community? i negociate with all the coders to let me re-release these addons that are sometimes very useful or at least very inspiring for new stuff. A good example is iTrader which was mostly left over by Jason because he had no more time for it...

We will implement a real coders directory in the next weeks, when enough coders are interested to use the site as another solution for advertising their product. if it does not work, we will not spend our time announcing it for nothing, but we will find something else.

Well i happen to think the colours are fantastic i love the simplcity of it, its stylish and elegant at the same time .

as for the concept etc, it sounds extremely promising and i'm very much looking forward to trying out some of the modifications promised.

all in all a place i'll be checking out more and more often

lol... that assistant may have been Canadian, that was not wrong to say she was from America anyway... (ok, here we call Americans the people from USA, but hey, she was stupid enough to see only that detail)

and for the structure, you were one of the few to see it from a long time ago, so yeap for you it was not different...l ol

I stumbled on this site a few days ago looking for the itrader hack, it's very sharp, looks great.
I would like to see a side column or better navigation of some sorts, and maybe something in the top left.. it seems sorta empty right now

...It's a great site and an extremely valuable source for stuff that should already be default and beyond haha

if my stuff worth being default in vB, that makes Jelsoft's job way easier, they do not have to recode their engine, people just have to install my stuff... rofl!

joke apart, as i worked on phpBB, IPB, and some other competitors, i know what can be missing or is different... sometimes we display stuff that we think need a redesign, sometimes it's just my point of view, and most of the time it's people's requests... i do not tend to replace Jelsoft's views, it's different, that's all... :)

and the colors of my style?... people said to me it was a rush in the eye... lol

The colors, I actually like. It's different which is good. It's not crazy over the top or anything. The only things I see to change are the little default icons (last post, the folders, post icons and such) ;) The orange and green isn't over powering and for some reason you (anyone) can never go wrong with the blue haha

The forumhome is nice and streamlined which I like also. It makes it easy to find everything. Same with the thread views, how your RSS are setup it just makes the flow so much better.

yeah, icons, a plague.. lol... i'll see what i can do, i'm suppose to release some icons packs in the next weeks, i may have to generate one official for my site as well.. lol

How long are you staying open for? 9-5 mon to fri closed on weekends or are we permanently up 24/7 now? Reminds me of another site I know about *looks at her signature*

as the site was privately opened 24/7 for the last 3 years, i don't know what to say now that it is publically open and i have some staff working for me.. lol

hey whole content is great , good navigation , though its kind of a bit dull.,

make it more interesting just to look at ( graphic wise ) .. but its has good content , mods , and user friendly interface.

A little more unique feel would sure put it on top of peoples list .

I like nonetheless

in any vBulletin support forum you will have the possibility that your questions are left unanswered, because maybe we're not the place where they can be answered... my site is not different from vb.org when you ask a question, i'm not god, neither the other guys in the staff... ok, i'm the master of my domain, the domain name, not the vBulletin domain. (you see the word game i hope)

ok an update on John's accusations, i verified with the source, and yes, he is spying on vbTeam to see if everybody is a spy for the devil. He have read a sarcastic post i've made last week about a moron who was praying for that site, making so much apraise, it was pathetic... (a bit like John right now)... as all your styles are on that site for free John, i suppose you are great friend with them?

next time you try to make false accusations and try to break someone's reputation, do it with someone else...

i'm member of that site because my stuff was stolen by them a long time ago, i registered to see if i was able to talk with the admins to stop distributing my stuff, and yes they agreed... because i was polite enough. and then i asked for some testers on a tool i was recoding -- Ico-Content... (ask the author if i had the right to do so)... and they were very useful slaves for that testing. and now and then, i come to say hello, because i'm stupid and post stupid things on that site that is dying by abandon of serious...

can you just get out and play with your styles instead of making stupid accusations

thanks, John, we got your point... and hopefully, with the number of real clients i had in the past years, i can say that nobody is frisky making business with me...

that's good actually, that you bring that point... people would be asking one day if it was safe to use my stuff on their forum. i would say... Ask John, he spied on me, found that my stuff was available for pirates, and these pirates are happy with my work... they use it, so we can evaluate that it is good enough...
