Ads. url converters, pop ups, etc. What do you use??
I'm just curious.. Ive tried a little of everything and I just want to know what works best for generating revenue other than donations and subscriptions..
I use Linkbee *** removed *** I see a ton of Adsense mods also. What do you use? |
i just buy websites that have a lot of members, merge/join them with my major one, and that's it... more members to contact for incomes -- whatever the goal of the income.
i request sponsors to finance parts of my sites, i never apply banners, people never click them anyway. a sponsor is more efficient, as you can charge a lot more, the company if more interested to be seen than to be clicked aynway... |
I use adsense, I've used it for about 3 months and it's utterly rubbish, redundant, useless and through my own experience feel ripped off providing links for google in places on my website for the past 3 months for 1 dollar, They've had much more worth in advertising from me. Nexy is right, nobody clicks, and as stated, adsense isn't worth it. I'll be removing adsense from my site soon. Go with a sponsors (something I should do) as I had a ton of sponsors I declined in the past which now I regret not doing which will definitely pay a higher return.
Like I said, adsense is terrible. |

I'll stick with the system I'm using. lol. @ least it brings in around $1-$2 a day. And I've only been using this for 3 weeks now. Sponsors is a great idea.. May have to do that. |
Sign spinners?

Many sites are not optimized for Adsense.
Many sites lack traffic - they need SEO. Many sites lack content. Adsense if used properly can bring in a good revenue stream. But, it shouldn't be your only form of revenue. I recommend having direct and indirect (ie. adsense) advertisers. |
Adsense is crap - i even brough SEO and nothing changed.I even paid for someone to implement it all into my sit properly but still about 1-2$ per day.
I removed all adsense code now as to me it simply is not worth the hazzle. |
Adsense works just fine for me - it pays all our monthly server bills, and we have enough left over to run competitions now and then.

15000+ members and plenty of content. Adsense does not pay for me. Subscriptions is what pays for my host each month. Threads: 31,677, Posts: 275,372, Members: 15,167 |

this is better and fast |
The weirdest thing with Google.... once I removed adsense, my forum jumped from page 42 to seven in like three days-no joke. Now on page one, no adsense and clean. Put adsense back on and my listed dropped to second page.
Be careful with Google. We will be entering a copyright lawsuit with them this year. Why? Because when a copyright issues comes up in which adsense was used, they still use India as their base for these complaints. Nothing like emailing back and forth with someone who can barely write a sentence in English. Well they are billion dollar company, I'm sure their lawyers must speak English. To me, Google is sleezy on many levels. Major adsense security issues. Not to mention the violate there own adsense terms of service when a legal issues arises. Be really careful submitting your information and make sure you keep really good records. Gabby |
