Here we have a brand new version of vBMA with many more features added to it.


vB Members Area is a member management system, that enables your users to get their own customer number and password. They can then login to the system and purchase / download products that you specify. Each product that they purchase will be issued a unique licence number.

[S]Before your members can download your products, they are required to edit their licence details to include the URL that the product will be installed on.[/S]

Due to the product having a seperate login system, your forum login will not work. This makes the modification more secure and will allow for you to delegate what users can access the mod.[/S]

What has changed between version 2 and the Beta Versions?

We have got rid of the install procedure, so all that is needed now is a product import. Along with this, there is no activation / validation procedure. There have been many more backend features. Users can now also sell their own products and get the money for it, by having an admin setup their product in the ACP along with the users paypal address in that product settings page.

Is there a PRO version?

Final Note
If you have vBMA Beta Versions installed on your board, please uninstall fully. Remove all the files and the products and any template edits, then please install this product. Please also note that any products you have set up, will be lost, so you will have to reset them again.

Until I get permission from vBCredits. I am unable to do this unfortunately.
However, there are plans in the pipeline to make our own credit system for vBMA

If the credits from vbcredits can be ported/transferred that would be great. I dont have a use for this otherwise unfortunately.

This would be fantastic if it had its own forum generated credit system, be keeping an eye on this one.

I don't know how true this is, but I heard that vBCredits may be doing something similar for vBMA at some point. Don't quote me though

This error occurs, but the addon is still working.

I assure you its the latest version, just forgot to change the name.

For the allow_call_time_pass_reference, you need to contact your host to remove that. That's a setting they have put on your account - nothing to do with vBMA :)

I was looking at your Admin CP Demo when you click Request Customer Number you get an error see below.

TBH i dont think it is somthing our site would use but i though i should let you know about the error.

Open class_vbma.php and find:
function checkProductPermissions(&$product)

and

I baught a product for 1€ for testing purpose and found a bug. Or lets call it a dog. :p

When I finish the transaction in PayPal and I press the button "Back to dealer", it will send me back to my Website (/mebers.php) but I always get an error, telling me that there is a Securitytoken missing.
Money is gone, but no license and no access code for the users has been send, neither to email nor to private messages.

You tested the lite version properly? Hope you can fix this error, since the hack is not useable with this bug. ;/

I typically skip over the mods on this site where there is a free version and a paid version. Right off the bat I know the script is going to require me to modify it, so I don't typically bother.

I did take a moment though to view your site so I could see what is entailed with this "deluxe" version since people are already posting bugs pertaining to the free version.

I immediately went to see the cost of this script and nearly spit my coffee out.

I would accept it, when deluxe features would have been integrated into PRO Version at the price of PRO. Hope devs think about this and I bet they get more people to buy this. Drop deluxe version, so we know, that here will not come up another MEGA Version. lol
But sure this product should first work properly. ^^

There isn't much difference in the old Lite version and the new one, just a few fixes.

The one that we are running on vBModifications is the deluxe version and will be the final release of vBMA. There will be no "Mega" version or anything lol.
We have 3 versions, so that there is:

Free
Cheap
Dearest + All features

Remember that branding free is already included in deluxe.
But I cannot discuss deluxe here

The deal with the strike-through means that its things that no longer apply. People hated the login, so we have an option to disable that now. They do not have to enter the forum url either before downloading products - which is why that is striked-through

Ok still same dang error ..installed just like your directions say to and when clicking on membersarea in the navbar it takes me to the explore page Cant not Display the page..what gives..is there an edit needing to be done...

There is not many changes between the lite versions - but people for the love of GOD! Do not buy pro or deluxe version, although he doesn't want to talk about it here he hired a coder to help him code the deluxe version and fix bugs in pro version - however has not yet paid, and when the REAL coder of these versions took the deluxe version down for not being paid the original poster of this thread banned/deleted the real coder from the website.

This guy is a scammer so use the free version and try to fix bugs as much as you can but for the love of god do not hand over your money.

iv just been to vbmodifications.co.uk and there site is no longer there he does not want anyone encluding me to be able to get hold of him as he has taken me for a ride with this script.
He has made money from this script and has not payed me the programmer for the work done.

I know that he has done this to a few other programmers as well.
If i had known this before i would not have done any thing for him.

The admins/mods of vbulletin should take this member of as he is trying to rip people off.

Yeah Michael332001 is a great coder, he coded this product, and have just created a brand new vbdigishop and that is a fantastic script.

Purchase the "subscriptions" item type from vBCredits. You can tie usergroups to a subscription purchase.

Since your listed as a supporter and I have seen nothing but relevant, positive, and helpful post on here by you from as long as I can rmember seeing your name ;) I will go along w/ you and other valued coders on here and steer clear of this one. I had it installed but removed due to statements like this from coders/designers/members alike last month and once you have that many good people saying bad things it means something IMO.

Uninstalled on my clients sites as well, I asked, stated the reasons and they agreed. Very poor management of their site as well IMO.

You don't need permission form vBCredits to pull and update payment information from a vB user database field.

I kindly suggest that you provide a simple API that permits a user / developer to specify a field in the user table and folks can integrate with any back end system they like that writes to the vB user table.

You don't need permissions to do that...

What he meant to say was he would like to do this but the coders he hires and don't pay weren't asked to do it so the poor next coder he scams will put this in as Hex would ask him for it!

yeah, don't use this... Leigh completely screwed everyone over... I paid for deluxe license (but never got it... go figure) michael is the REAL coder here.
