Hi

this mode to show your members avatars in forumdisplay in thumbinal to make it more buti

TRY it : DEMO <<----- here.

INSTALL :

time = 1 sec
templates = 0
files = 0
XML = 1

change log :

1- add css style to the image
2- add where u like avatar appears
3- add what link u like to use in url target
4- remove forumdisplay problem after install
5- make it more simple


any more ideas are wellcome


just upload product-avatars.xml from admincp then go and allow the mode to work

Love the concept, installation was easy but it pushes the last post far to the right and leaves a large space between the avatar and the last post. see attachment

i just made it for css styles i just test it on 3 forums with css styles and its works like sharm

but if thier is any problems plz let me know it becouse iam working now on its update , few friends has face same problems that ur face it, and i think i have to make it more easyer

cant find those, actually did that but still dosent work.

I'm having this same issue. Tried to uninstall and got an error on the forum. I then added it back and diabled it. Things got back to normal but the color on my thread title table in the forum display page has changed. The I reverted the fourmdisplay the threadbit templates but that didn't place things back in order.

Yeah there is a major problem with the hack. AFter I uninstalled it, only one thread is show at a time. You should take this ofline until you fix whatever is causing this. Now I have to friggen fix whatever is going on. Lovely. ALl of my threads are gone and I am pissed.

use tools.php in (dont upload) folder

what you mean? look if i unstall the hack, it messes up my board but as soon as i put it back up it works fine. dam fix it asap please :confused:

hey guys i fix it now u can install it and enjoy the problem was in forumdisplay tempalte
i replace it with another str functions so its 100% perfect now ;) enjoy

Can you just post the fix here so others can fix it on there own? This is a great hack but I can't chance this problem and just want to get my forum back online asap. I do not have msn as well.

btw like the new addtions to the hack, but when you put the avatar on views it covers the vies # is it posibble to just add another colum next to views for the avatar?

FYI. I installed your new version, uninstalled it and now my forum display doesn't even appear. The new options did not appear either, just an on-of and you request for suggestioned via email

try to download the threadbit.txt again i upload the orginal sorry i was upload main lol download it and use it again the threadbit.txt only

LOL well considering my second install of this hack just completely deleted my forum display template in my default wouldn't you be a bit concerned dude? I guess I'll have to reload vbulletin again and pay my tech support 40 bucks and hour to fix this. Ho hum.. Lesson learned.

it does not look professional to have the vbulletin default avatar show.
I feel that you should have it possible that only custom avatars show.
If the user does not have an avater then nothing shows.

its not hard to fix like i said but vbulletin.org limits the number of letters i can add per post thats all, you can trust me I can fix it in 3min like on my board. You can give me admin for only 3 min thats it i promise

mistake it happen and iam so sorry about what just happen , i did my best to fix it and i did it the mode now is completly fine and perfect :up:

the old more deleted this templates so you wont find them you nee to just go to options then put add new templates and add those two and put whats on the text file for each template and done. :cool:

re added new template forumdisplay and thread bit to all of my skins. Worked on main design but not default vbulletin 3.7 running vba as well. disabled everything and still no forum display on my default and child.. worked for main non-default design though so know I have to reinstall everything after I reverted on my main and figure out why the default is not excepting display and thread code.

reomve the mode first then add the templates and if u can't do go to admincp-->Maintenance-->Update Counters--->Rebuild Styles

thats it then u can use the mode again after i update it and fix forumdisplay problem:p
