Finally!

Reycer 03-06-2009 12:35 AM

wow! Works perfectly. Thanks for this one. We're gonna turn the Vbulletin into a Myspace after all! lol.....

petacat 03-06-2009 03:14 AM

Looks good. Perhaps a little more attention to styling the mood box in postbit would be nice.

I think the .gif files in New Moods work nicely with this mod. Different style but no background issues.

Voted and installed.

itsheinz 03-06-2009 05:56 AM

DobieGillis? 03-06-2009 11:07 AM

what's weird about this mod for me was I had to change every mood name from capitalized to not capitalized for it to work. Works like a charm, though.

Akademiks 03-08-2009 09:53 PM

nice work guys

Phoenix81377 03-11-2009 10:40 PM

This works great. Since linux is case sensitive, to use all the images I did need to make sure the image name and the name in the options all match case.

Using hiBees images saved a great deal of time, but do check case sensitivity and compare what is after the | in your options in admincp, to the case in the images folders if images don't show up. You can either rename your images or retype the reference in options - they just have to match!

BoYagoob 03-12-2009 01:29 PM

installed..Thanks.

exactly...would have saved me some hardship if the coder had mentioned that upfront? Ya think?

Redzzand 03-12-2009 06:38 PM

again...

is there any way to have this mod use $template_hook[postbit_userinfo_left]??

I haven't seen the coder here in many months.

Redzzand 03-12-2009 08:43 PM

ok, well I found a way to do this...

1. Edit product XML
a. Find $template_hook[\'postbit_userinfo_right\
b. Replace with $template_hook[\'postbit_userinfo_left\

2. Edit plus_mood_postbit template
a. Wrap html code within a table to shrink size

Sample code of my plus_mood_postbit template
Code:

<br />
<table>
<tr><td>
<fieldset><legend>$vbphrase[plus_mood]</legend>
<div align="center">
<img class="inlineimg" src="images/images_mood/$usermood[img].gif" alt="$usermood[alt]" border="0" />
</div>
</fieldset>
</tr></td>
</table>
<br />

just lost my Mood change option in the post bit because of another mod. Where will this locate the option to change moods?

DobieGillis? 03-13-2009 02:59 PM

I wish there was another way to put the Mood changer somewhere else, anywhere else but the postbit.

Thanks Redzzand,
In postbit looks lovely, but in postbit_legacy its ugly.
So how about using postbit_userinfo_left in postbit, and postbit_userinfo_right in postbit_legacy?

AdminCP -- Phrase Manager--User Tools (global)--plus_ mood_ do_ not_ use_ mood

Then change it to do not use mood on the text box when you click to edit it.

Do you mean the ability to change your mood in postbit??

mdawg 03-26-2009 07:32 PM

How do I "import" the XML into my vbulletin?

I am trying to import it via Style Manager, and it says invalid file specified when I try.

T5il 03-26-2009 09:36 PM

Thank you very much

import it through your product manager, not style manager. you use style manager only for importing styles xmls.

PGAmerica 04-23-2009 07:37 PM

I installed this and it works. However, I have 2 issues.
  1. I want to put the mood graphic in a custom place in my postbit. I do not want to use "$template_hook[postbit_userinfo_left]" or "$template_hook[postbit_userinfo_right]". Can I break it away from using these? I want to place the mood right under my user title without the surrounding box.

  2. In the ACP, I told it to show 150 moods per page and although I only have 120 moods, it still breaks it up into 2 pages. Ideas?
