thanks for that |
Simple install and works great even with a custom template. Thanks!
|
Great! Would love to see the PSN, Xbox Live, Wii ones ported to 3.8.x as well :)
|
I was so waiting for this. I had gone ahead and made a required Custom field at registration on our site. It also check that the correct format is used. Does yours do that as well?
My earlier version, people did not understand and entered in their Game Name, which has nothing to do w/ the SteamID number. What I do see is that creates the links to the players community ID and other features, which is great! Well done man, well done. I will incorporate this to our site. |
Thanks :D I will add this too. Hi Nut ^ tf2maps.net has a cool addon that integrates steam community using code from another image mod.
|
I entered this in: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197976477848
and it gave me this : You did not enter the correct format for the Steam Community field. Please read the field description for the expected format. This happens when I try to add any of the options :( and the image isnt dark background friendly, white corners. |
very nice job, thank you

Does that Mod work with 3.7.5 ? I installed it and I could fill in the SteamID in my profile but when someone or myself watches the Contact Informations in my Profile, the SteamID thingy isn?t there at all. :(
I use a custom skin btw, not the standard. P.S: Also doesn?t work for me with the default style btw. |
Actually i also found that it creates the following Error as soon as you edit a user within the ACP.
Code:
Parse Error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /www/mywebsite/forum/acp/user.php(984) :eval()'d code on line 14 |
v1.1 should address all the problems above.

Now it works. Though it doesn´t show up below the Avatar where the other Messenger Icons are. Any chance to get that to work too ?

Postbit template? Are you using legacy postbit? If so then attached file should do it. |
Thanks, now its showing there. And yes, I was using the legacy Postbit. Something else I noticed. I added my Steam ID and it shows in my Profile and all. I added my gf´s Steam ID in her profile, but it doesnt show. She didnt add any of the other Contact Messengers as well, there would be only the Steam ID but it doesn´t show. Why is that ?
There is no permission setting or is there ? |

And how should i instruct my members to get their code.? I'll try this ID# Thanks *EDIT* Works great now.. so where do i get the id# from..? |
When you are in Steam, hit the community tab and hit the home button. Highlight the URL at the top and right click and hit copy, ctrl+c doesnt work with this. Thats to get the number way, if you click view profile, it gives you the link you chose which im not sure works with this. I cant test since this isnt working at all for me. :(

Possible to add the username and or email so people can contact / add you on steamfriends?
PS, When I fill in the Steam ID information within my UserCP and I come back to the UserCP to check it out.. It's empty. I tried a lot of ways to add it now but it keeps showing empty. Any idea why? I assume: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Skyrider Would do the trick? |

There is already link to add to steam friends. |

EDIT: Works, thanks! Can you do the same with Xfire? I've been looking for it like forever. |
Yeah thanks Bananalive, this works great. ;)
|
Found something more. When I checked my Memberlist where i set that the Contact stuff shows, the Messengers etc. , the SteamID thingy doesn?t show up there. ;)

No, not that i can see. In fact, now the Messenger Contact tab in the Memberlist is gone even completely. According to the Config its activated to show in Memberlist but doesn´t anymore now after I updated to 1.4
Even disabling and enabling to show that in the Memberlist didn´t help. |

Try attached file. |
My Messenger-Contacts Tab on the Memberlist still is completely gone since I used the 1.4 Version, the 1st or the 2nd. :(
|
1.4 works for me now :D I dont even have an instant messaging column in my memberlist.

There might be slight change in the php which is causing the issue. The v1.3 is still in first post for you to downgrade. |

If you did want it on memberlist then its a vBoption |
