About :
User generated links, set up in categories defined by admin.
Users can share links, currently only registrered users can add new links.

A learning experience, call it development while learning vb.
Should really work with any Vb 3.6.x + perhaps lower wouldnt know.
all query's etc run on its own pages, excluding compability issues.

Those downloaded initial release, please redownload, and just reupload
the files, no need to import the product, changes made to main page and
admin cp, for moderation issues.

NOT WORKING/Compatable WITH :

• Member ID changer

Becourse this mod, when a user creates a new link, his UID is stored in
a seperate table so it dosent interfeer with vb at all.
Meaning if u change his ID on vb, it WILL NOT CHANGE here unless done
manually. Not a big deal, but will show wrong users for links incase they
get their id exchanged.

But both mods can still be installed on same board, no problem.

Known Issues :

- When deleting a entire category, the links from that category remains in DB.
- Category is misspelled throughout the context as "categori".
- Atm not compatable with vBa
- Some servers are CASE sensitive on folders, notice if you have several folders with same nameing.

Thank you! if you need a quick fix all text is added through phrases
so you can edit your phrases.

Will ofcourse change it in next version

I am looking forward to this mod being developed and tested out.

This is exactly what I need to replace a mod that I had on my old forum, but lost when I migrated to vb.

Happy to implement suggestions etc.

I would love to use this, but there is much to be fixed.

1) I would like an option to disable link rating
2) I would like an option to disable the display of the link and category ID columns.
3) The button style needs to be changed to match that of the default vBulletin buttons.
4) The button style class is referred to as "botton" which is incorrect spelling; it needs to be "button".
5) I would like an option to be able to disable the flagging of links.
6) I would like an option to limit submissions to certain usergroups, as well as allow certain usergroups to submit unmoderated links.

I will let you know if I come across anything else :)

ill certainly be using this when it comes out of beta.

will be awhile, trying to incoorperate as many suggestions as possible,
it is currently full working, and next release will including a option to completely
remove the categori section by enable/display as the first request.

can you have the links appear in a dropdown menu that automatically updates with the links?

Most likely ill start testing it when VBA integration works correctly.

Can you give any confirmation as to whether or not these will be looked into?

They are, just ran into some other issues, that i needed taken care of first. ;)

Havent planned for a search system, but could be possible, dont see why not.

Nope no editing feature, dont see why you would need a edit feature.

Address and phonenumber, sounds alot like a address roladex rather than a link system
Not going to add contact details for now, perhaps later.

Needs edit feature, what happens if you type a wrong link.
You have to go into admin delete link and start all over again. :confused:

yes, edit feature must be a need. what if the url is incorrect or site name/description needs to be changed?

Would you show how to remove the Evi Module on the admincp?

Thinking about this edit feature.. just see alot of problems adding that to the pages.

anyway the Evi Module is a "placeholder" name while in beta
Final name gonna be Elink or something similar.
and since it contains the subcategories and admin options(in current on test)
removeing it will remove the ability to edit/moderate files.

If its a empty not working then check the folder names, aparently some
servers dont appriciate Includes instead of includes.

But if your uninstalling just remove the files you installed/uploaded.
As you would in any product.

Ill wait until a stable version is released

it great but cant edit links .... or normal user can report admin link and later the admin have to approve .... other thing .. i cant see the amount of links in each category

I would change your upload folder from AdminCP to admincp

This will be causing numerous errors
