v3 Arcade - Professional vBulletin Gaming
1 Attachment(s)
v3 Arcade is now a member of the vBadvanced family!
http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47571 The support forums & data from v3Arcade.com have been merged into the vBadvanced.com site. ================================= v3 Arcade for vBulletin ================================= *** IMPORTANT *** Version 2.0.0 has introduced a number of changes to the various file names, phrases, templates, etcetera. If you are using any 3rd party hacks/add-ons then they may need to be updated. Feel free to check over at v3Arcade.com with any questions you might have before upgrading. "v3 Arcade" is the premiere arcade system written specifically for vBulletin. It's coded from scratch - not a port of an older version - and because it was coded specifically for vBulletin it uses the product system for code modifications & utilizes AJAX technology throughout. Here's a brief rundown of the features in this version of v3 Arcade.
Branding Free ================================= All v3 Arcade installations carry and require a small "v3 Arcade" logo in the footer, as well as the text "Powered by v3 Arcade" which links to http:www.v3arcade.com. For information on legally removing the branding, please visit www.v3arcade.com. ================================= www.v3arcade.com ================================= If you're looking for more games, add-ons, support, tutorials, or anything Arcade related - www.v3arcade.com is the place to go. :) ================================= Copyright ================================= All code & images distributed in this zip is Copyright ?2009 CinVin, with the following exceptions:
Misc. ================================================================== Add-Ons =================================
Many thanks to... =================================

ho great, thanks for this hack !!

I have a question what makes this better then ibproarcade for 3.8.x? I`ll give it a shot mate thanks for the release of this Ill click install but test it first to compare the two. Thanks again.
|
Well, this is certainly an unexpected development. I doubt I'll be switching back from ibproarcade in the near future, simply because there doesn't seem to be a clear converter here yet to move everything back over (at least not for the current version anyway, since the import script linked above is from 2005), but I'll certainly be taking a good long look at this in future, especially now knowing that Brian/Tigga has his hands in this.
|
im also wondering the difference between iBProArcade to v3arcade
|
unable to import games ?
uploaded to games folder and chmod 777 then run import but it kept saying "There are no more games to import" |

KW802 does vbarcade support iproarcade games or lets say someone elses games? If so to your own games whats the requirements for cooding games for your system and if no to iproaracde games would you be willing to give info on how to convert the games so they work on you system? i havented tested it since I`m in class.

Wow - easy as pie to install. I've only been using VB for about a week now, this was simple.
After reading all the clutter and things to do when installing the "other" developers arcade version I was a bit sad. I'm glad I did another search and found this! Had it installed in less than 5 minutes. Thanks!! |

... unzip the file on your local hard drive. ... in the spot where you unzipped the file, you'll see a folder named "files". ... upload everything in the "files" folder (a file named arcade.php along with several folders) to the same folder on your server where you have vBulletin installed (typically "forums" or similar). ... Import the "product-v3arcade.xml" file into vBulletin (ACP => Plugins & Products => Manage Products => Add/Import Product) ... Go into your user groups and set their permissions to the arcade (ACP => Usergrouips => Usergroup Manager => {name of group} Edit => Arcade Permissions) ... Have fun. :) (Note... you should not try to install multiple arcade prodcuts on the same instance of vBulletin unless you have modified one or other to avoid any conflicts.) |
Nice to see this back in action :)
|
Im getting the following error once i reach step 4 part - Removing 3.5 Arcade Data of the upgrade process

@Cheech47: Were you running the old vB 3.0.x version before? You should not be running that import script unless you were running a version of v3 Arcade that was running on vBulletin 3.0.x before.
@Goxy63: No, not on the radar at this time. We need to get the basic functionality updated first. |
Awesome.
/installs |
The question is still answered, whats the difference is the two arcades?
|
I'm truly interested :)
But I would like to know: a) the differences between the two systems (like everybody else) b) Is there any intention to make a converter? |
Hi,
I get the following error: Warning: require_once([path]/includes/class_database_analyse.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/admincp/plugin.php(1995) : eval()'d code on line 3 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/*****/******/forum/includes/class_database_analyse.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/*****/*****/forum/admincp/plugin.php(1995) : eval()'d code on line 3 What am I doing wrong ? :) Thanks in advance |

i am happy to see this mod back up and being worked on. i was a v3arcade user for a long time, but you know, as the forum advanced, the arcade didnt go with it, so i had to convert over to the other system. you have a lot of grounds to cover to catch up to the ibp mod, and im sure you will get there. good luck. |
For those looking detailed answer as to the differences between the two... they are simply two different arcade systems, not much more can be said than that. If you go through the various prior versions of both arcades here on vB.org, you can see the history of both. Both arcades have been around for a number of years, and both have switched hands over that course of time, both do the same basic functions but the fundamental programming behind them are drastically different.
@Deriel: Until we get IBP v32 game compatibility fully tested & released, we're holding off on an updated official converter script. |
v3arcade is the best arcade system for vbulletin, it has been designed for vbulletin not like the other system which has ben originally created for Invision Board if im correct... v3Arcade has also much better design then the other one.. Ive been waiting for updates on all my sites and its great news!

When I tried to playing game at your site, it required me to have some reputation. Other than just see how it laying out, I am not able to test as a guest player.
