Could I get a few opinions on the loading and running speed of my forum please?:D

It's a bit slow - not as fast as here - but not that bad. I've been to sites which are much, much worse.

loaded it from my iPhone at a solid speed. Seems good to me.

- forum speed is slow (britmovie.net/britforum)
- main page is worst (britmovie.net/)

Yeah I found the britmovie.net/ really slow to load (around 30 seconds or so), but the forums were great - 2 or 3 seconds max to load threads. I don't think you could realistically ask for anything more

Forum speed is good ... home page is slow.

14 seonds to load up the home page from a 20mb uk connection

R1lover 03-04-2009 02:33 AM

30mb USA connection and the forum page loads pretty fast for me.

The main page loads slower then a turtle though.

tracert showed every hop less then 40ms as well. (looks like godaddy)

I bit slow here. Your yslow score is 65 for that page - the same pages on my site gets an 89. Have a look at optimisations tips in these forums for help on speeding things up. This thread puts together a lot of the top tips:

I doubt he is still looking for feedback as this thread is a year old.
