Very URGENT!!!!!!!!

briansol 02-02-2009 07:56 PM

there is no downgrade...

raja811 02-02-2009 07:57 PM

what i do delay is finished!!!!!!

Lynne 02-02-2009 08:07 PM

The way to 'downgrade' is to go back to your dtabase backup that you created just before you did the upgrade and then reupload the files you used then also.

raja811 02-02-2009 08:10 PM

but i don't know when upgradated?how to do this !!!

Lynne 02-02-2009 08:16 PM

I don't know. If you wanted to do it manually, you could go through all the upgrade scripts that vb goes through between 3.6.8 and 3.7.3 and undo every database change they make. vB has no way of downgrading the database which is why they stress making a backup just prior to the upgrade.

thanks lynne.

sorry can you explain clairty pls

very urgent !!!

Lynne 02-02-2009 09:00 PM

No, I can't explain anymore than I have. You would have to go through every one of those files and find the mysql changes and then undo them. I'm not about to go look those all up.

You should restore the backup database you made prior to the upgrade.

The easier solution would be to explain your problems with vB 3.7.3 and we can help fix them.

m002.p 02-02-2009 09:08 PM

Simple answer.... restore that backup you made before you upgraded ;)

Otherwise putting it nicely, theres not much you can do unless you pay someone to undo all those queries or better still, do it yourself :)

Why do you need to downgrade?
If there's features on 3.7 you don't like you can always disable them.

Ahhh, lol. Why would you do that?? Best thing to do is save up some money and upgrade your previous license.
