1 Attachment(s)
This modification allows you to add advertisements to your vBulletin software. It's very easy to use, very quick and allows almost unlimited customisation. There is no restriction regarding the content you can use. Adsense, images, flash, plain text and you can use template conditionals and phrases as well. It will put anything, anywhere. Just about.
Features: - Timed ads. - Self-refreshing ads. - Ad rotations. - Ads using conditionals, phrases and templates. - Ad sharing. - Default ad blocks (typical ad block screenshot attached) for all the most popular locations plus another 25 custom blocks. - Default ad blocks for some of the most popular alternative formats; columns, full-page, sponsors. - Ads for distributed content (emails and feeds). - Instant previews before publishing. - No template edits necessary. - Compatibility with external pages and software. - Appearance blending to make your ads look like part of your vBulletin templates. - Alter hyperlinks to include your referral codes. - Further details in the manual. For software-specific management (i.e. threads on a forum, comments on a blog) and/or ad (revenue) sharing you will additionally need the appropriate module. Additional modules: Forum Blog This modification is supported with a link back to my homepage in the footer. Unbranded is per vBulletin license to be used with, see here for details. So if you want things like ads at the bottom of every page, you only need vB Ad Management. If you want things like ads with posts, you need Forum Ad Management as well. |
thanks :)
|
Thanks, going to give this a whirl and see how the V5 goes.

I tried to install it in 3.6.8 and get this error:
Warning: Unknown(/home/themarin/public_html/includes/vbam_functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /global.php(360) : eval()'d code on line 2 Warning: (null)() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/themarin/public_html/includes/vbam_functions.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /global.php(360) : eval()'d code on line 2 Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: vbam in /home/themarin/public_html/global.php(360) : eval()'d code on line 3 |

It appears that the files have not been correctly uploaded, vbam_functions.php is in the wrong place or missing completely. Think I'll add that one to the FAQ...

/me clicks install
|
It made my forum disappear so I had to disable it.
I put my Adsense code in the Navbar adcode box, changed the other settings and clicked save, returned to my forum and didn't see any ads displayed, when I pressed refresh my forum was gone - the header and footer were still visible but everything in between was missing. When I went back to the control panel to edit the Navbar code the only textbox that was visible was 'Navbar Adcode' - everything beneath 'Adcode preview' was gone - like the html had been truncated. |
everything seems to be working ok, but when i enable advertisements, i am getting an error in IE browser, page loads fine, but the browser is telling me a syntax error.
If i turn off advertisements globally, the error goes away. |

It's an error that shows up in the lower left corner of the broswer, all IE says when i click the error icon , a box comes up and says syntax error , line 28. It seems to work fine otherwise, and fine in FF. |
Tagged until supported.
|
Finally, where have you been damnit.. I had to do all this manually as your hack didnt worked for me on vb 3.8 :)
|
Holy smoke!!! Red Tiger is back!!! Yeeeaaa!!! :D

What support do you require? You're unlikely to need help getting it working (notice the lack of people asking what to do, the manual is substantial and the menus fully explanatory) and I intend to support it in the sense of making sure the latest version is free of bugs and other issues. |
