Gap in forum header..
<a href="http://www.nbadimensions.net/forums/" target="_blank">http://www.nbadimensions.net/forums/</a>
If you see on the top of the forum there's a gap showing the background. How do I remove this? |
Remove
<table width="85%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td></td> </tr> </table> From the header? |
that is not correct. I was lazy and could be bothered using padding for the top white space.
lol. --------------- Added [DATE]1232597812[/DATE] at [TIME]1232597812[/TIME] --------------- It's in the footer also. I'm guessing that spacing is up somewhere. I just can't find it. |
Look at your page source and the <body> tag - it's got code in it. Fix it and see what happens.
And my gosh, what is with all the .style1 declarations at the top - over and over again? |
What code is it? I can't find it.
|
The body tag....
HTML Code:
<body onload="if (is_ie || is_moz) { var cpost=document.location.hash;if(cpost){ if(cobj = fetch_object(cpost.substring(1,cpost.length)))cobj.scrollIntoView(true); }}"> |
lol. Still unable to find it. Where's the code? Sorry about but I'm new to this.
|
For you to find the template - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code.
|
Lol, its right inbetween the headinclude and header templates. Interesting.
 |
Then it's probably in the main template that is named at the top of the page source. Or, it was added by a plugin.
|
I've done a template search for the code, and it's not there. I'm guessing it's a plug in?
|
mm perhaps give this one a try make your header in png format and rename it as your header.gif or whatever format your header is right now and overwrite it. I am not sure will it work or not but giving a try is worth it.
|
How would changing the format of my header help? Just wondering. I doubt it would make any difference.
|
I don't think it's that code since I removed it in firebug and still had the gap.
|
Any other suggestions?
lol. |
I would suggest correcting your html and then perhaps the page will render the way it's meant to render. All that extra css, and then the incorrect css, and then the meta tags not in the <head>. You have 581 errors on that page and 4 warnings.
