How to:

- to Show avatar in your left sidebar like demo, Import product included in folder Add-On.

Enjoy !

NOTE: If you are using this style, please mark as installed to receive information about fluid skin or skin update in the future

NOTE: This style works with latest VBB version 3.8.1

I have very limited time rite now, so support will be high priority for ppl, who clicked "Mark as installed".

thats one of the best web 2.0 design style i have seen for vbulletin

thanks a lot .. i have a 400$ custom made skin done for my site .. this beats the hell out of that :D (at least according to me)

*clicks install* and *proud to be the first one to reply*

haothiencz 01-22-2009 02:30 AM

Thank you for your nice comment :)

Have some fun to know you like it.

KevinL 01-22-2009 02:37 AM

I was going to try it out but there was a hidden file. It looked like from your ftp program in the 'editor' folder and when I went to upload it it shot my upload time to like 3 hours haha

Maybe after you were testing the skin or something this sneaked in there by accident?

Cool skin either way :)

haothiencz 01-22-2009 02:46 AM

@KevinL: checking my editor folder now and seeing that nothing wrong :)

Can u check your internet connection or let me know more detaily in this case :)

Thank you

KevinL 01-22-2009 02:48 AM

I will check it again :)

I'm on a T1 line so I shouldn't have an issue. ;)

KevinL 01-22-2009 03:01 AM

Yes the file was gone :)

Very well done.

Nice style .. but err .. we have to upload images directly to forum root or images/style/skin ?

sensimilla 01-22-2009 07:59 AM

Outf**nstanding! Really good job.

You have to creat a folder in your site like /root/styles/lightskin

and then everything should be ok :)

lasto 01-22-2009 03:23 PM

I throught it was fluid - will wait for fluid version as i like full width.
Clicked install though as its a really nice style.
Thanks for the share and the free skin.

Thank your for understanding

I have tried to make the style to come to the max width as it can be.

The full width may break the beginning ideal.

The Big Sidebar and Tcat for easy looking :)

Thank you for all your comments and it supported me :)

rapidphim 01-23-2009 03:07 AM

nice style there.... what is the avatar size you have on the demo image?

christicehurst 01-23-2009 04:32 AM

Stunning looking design, however it should have been released as fluid as a extra option.

Pure Dope 01-23-2009 05:30 AM

looks jacked up in ff3

itsbobtista 01-23-2009 07:13 AM

Quick question.. I have the show subforum depth set to 5.. but for some reason, it doesn't display those subforums on the front page..

Check out ATXScene.com

And subforums under Video Games (the consoles).

Any idea if it is the style or just me?

Im looking on this. Seems that you didnt add main box for your subbox right?
Im using sub-box with my style right now. And It works fine.

Shaliza 01-23-2009 09:05 AM

I agree that this is the best 2.0 style for vB so far. And it'd go really well with a community site.

It is really the best skin available. I installed for testing. All browsers plays it perfect.. BUT.. When im using this skin all browsers SLOWS DOWN the cpu !!!.. It takes about 10-30% cpu usage !!! :| Why is this.. very strange! When i open my page in my netbook the windows almost stop responds :P ... Anyway.. I am sure when this beautie is at final stage will installed forever. Looks GREAT !!!

Most of them was made wih PNG files for transparent effect.

But I guest I will not take to much cpu usage of yours. Can you take a quick test with some of your javascript ? disable/ then turn it on.

christicehurst 01-23-2009 11:18 AM

The fluid will work better with certain mods. With the chatbox it looks like a mess on the home page.

lasto 01-23-2009 05:02 PM

Okay, what do you mean by I didn't add main box? What do your settings look like?

Cause basically, this is what I need:

Category
-Subforum
--Subforum
--Subforum
-Subforum
--Subforum
--Subforum

So it should look like:

Video Games
-XBox
--Games --Hardware
-PS3
--Games --Hardware

haothiencz 01-23-2009 09:44 PM

Can PM your site with an account for testing and admin permission ?

I saw what I did wrong.. I was setting the depth to more than 2, when all I needed was 2. Supposedly you cant set it higher than 2 without a mod.

So, all fixed.

Next question:

Where do I change the color of the font used in posts? A member says that the color is too ligh and it hurts their eyes, so I want to darken it a little.

haothiencz 01-24-2009 08:50 AM

You can change font color in Main CSS, find it in drop down menu of style from style manager,

Look at every table name Font Color.

@PS: Support will be priority for whom clicked installed. Update will be sent via Email. So if you use my style on your site. Mark as installed.

Thank you

rapidphim 01-24-2009 05:24 PM

can you update to have auto drop down menu on the navbar when mouse over, instead of clicking on it?
This style looks awesome when you have no or few subforums. Any suggestions for me if you have more than 5 sub-forums?

It requires custom code, I can promise about that, but will take a look on this when have some free time.

rapidphim 01-24-2009 05:42 PM

Thanks for that. However, please help me correct the Avatar issue for now. For some reason, it's not align within the avatar box as on your Demo.
