I had an addon that I got rid of and my guess is that i didn't get rid of it right. What can I do?

Make sure you remove all the files you uploaded for the modification also. Especially ones in the includes/xml folder.

Now I get that, the problem is that the column of permissions wont delete but they are all blank...

That's the same error. Did you remove all the files for that modification? Which modification was it (link also)?

That is caused by a bitfield_*.xml file that you have not deleted from the /includes/xml directory.

I did. it made the fields blank. I just reinstalled the mods and disabled them and its all fine now.

By having the file in there, you are causing the problem. The reason why the query is looking for the field is because it detected the bitfield file.

I am having the same problem but simply cannot remember the name of this mod. Does anyone knows the name? The xml file is called bitfiled_ms_wic_addon.xml

Go to User CP and select your list of Installed Mods. It should be there.

Look at your Installed Mods under User CP. It should be listed there.

If you still have the problem, then you have not removed all the files, file edits, and plugins for the product. Look at the installation script and undo everything you did for installation. If you continue to have problems, you should post in the modification thread for help.

As mentioned previously, you need to remove all the xml files, some of which are not obviously part of the various Flashchat integrations.

These include:
- bitfield_fc_admincp.xml
- bitfield_fci_38.xml
- bitfield_ms_wic_addon.xml
- cpnav_flashchat.xml

I wasted about an hour on this today. :mad:

Maybe this info can help somebody save some time. :cool:

FlashChat was always a really crappy chat program anyway. I had installed it, and then disabled it due to poor communication and poor resource (ab)use. If you're wanting a quality chat program, look at AJAX Chat instead. Unlike FlashChat, it's behavior can be highly customized. (I'm not too keen on the default install, so I think customization is a must anyway.)
