Tagged Modifications

I've tagged some Mods on this page, but when I click on my User CP--> Tagged Modifications it shows up empty (Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms). I'm sure there must be a simple explanation to this, but for now I can't figure it out...::rolleyes:

Go to a modification, tag it, and try again. Does that modification show up?

This is a strange thing I have noticed sometimes, mainly on the installed list - occasionally it returns no results, then it works again - I am baffled as to how this can happen. I tried it a couple of times this morning - no results, yet now it works again.

I posted this a while ago (when the update was done here) and I was told that it worked fine  and I knew it didn't...

Lynne 01-20-2009 02:16 PM

It's working for me right now (I have that many mods tagged?!?!). Very strange that it would be intermittent.

No, you reported that a tagged mod did not stay tagged, that is not the problem here.

cykelmyggen 01-20-2009 02:25 PM

I've tried now in 3 different browsers, FF 3.0.5, IE 7.0. and Chrome 1.0.154 just to make sure it wasn't browser-dependent. Same error as described above in alle 3.

vbboarder 01-20-2009 02:36 PM

Ajax tagging is also not working for me.

Sorry to ask the obvious, but are you sure you actually have tagged mods ?

When you view one does it say "You currently have this modification tagged" in first post (header) and do they show as tagged if you view the threads in the forum display. If so please link to a mod you have tagged.

(FYI, I cannot look for a day or two as Im away).

Works fine in both IE and Firefox, I suggest you clear your temp files, the problem others were having was that the browser was not downloading the updated JS.

When I tag a modification it says:

"You currently have this modification tagged.", but next time I visit this modification it shows up as if it wasn't tagged:confused:

OK, that's weird. I just tried to tag that mod also and it wouldn't show up in my list and then when I went back to the page, it did not show up as tagged. That modification will not stay tagged for me. I tag it on page one, go to page three and it's not tagged anymore. Very weird.

edit: And now I went back to it and it would tag fine....

I'm having the same problem as everyone in this thread...

On IE6 I can click on the Tag Modification link, it changes and a notice pops up saying the mod is tagged. On a refresh it reverts back to untagged.

Clicking on Edit Settings I can select the Tag mod checkbox and it saves fine.

Howell 01-22-2009 07:03 PM

Ditto - I'm also having this problem.

I found some useful mods that I was considering installing so I tagged them on my Laptop. When I came back to view then from my home PC I had nothing tagged!!

Very annoying.:(

N.B. Browser - Firefox 3.1 Beta2

Ziki 01-23-2009 08:14 AM

Yes I have the same problem, but I didn't want to start a thread cause I though it was just me being stupid :p

Having spent an while tracing how this worked today, I finally found a set of circumstances under which it would fail. Now fixed.
