What is Qur'an? Muslims believe that the Qur'an is words of God which He revealed to His last Prophet and Messenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him).

I've decided to create this thread for updated version of this mod in the latest vb version mods section to move on with the changes. This mod should work on 3.8.x, 3.7.x and 3.6.x. I don't know about 3.5 or lower versions.

Mod Description: This mod lets the users on your board read the Glorious Qur'an in Arabic and interpretation of the meaning in 25 different languages.

The attached file has everything that you need.

Install time: approx 2-3 mins.

Question: Can you please translate this mod in language "A"?
Answer: This mod contains 25 different languages: Albanian, Azerbaijani, Bosnian, Brazilian, Dutch, 3 English, Finnish, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Malaysian, Mexican, Polish, Portugese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Thai, Transliteration, Turkish, 2 Urdu. So, please do not request for a language if it can be found in this list.

-Display the Qur'an in Arabic and English interpretation of the meaning (by Imam Pickthall - May Allah have mercy on him).
-Longer Surahs are handled in multiple pages
-Jump to a Surah functionality

-Display Arabic text in charset UTF-8 instead of windows-1256
-Fixed bug: WOL (Who's online) not showing Surah's name

-Fixed Bug: incorrect database table name

-Fixed SQL Injection and XSS flaws
-Added meaning of the Qur'aan in 24 different languages and 28 in total
-Added 2 Setting options
- Set default language for your forum
- Set number of ayaat to display on one page
-Added Different Colours for some of the languages
-User's selection of different languages is handled using AJAX

-Known Bugs and Limitations
- The Qur'aan (Arabic text) is fixed as default.
- Weird character maybe displayed for some of the languages
- Multiple Page selection destroys the use of AJAX; so users have to reselect the languages
if they were viewing the meaning of the Qur'aan in non-default languages.

- Users can choose to get displayed number of ayaat on one page [AJAX]
- Users can choose to display ayaat "From" to "To" [AJAX]
- Display url for each ayah; so that it can be linked
- few other template changes

quran_install.php this one.. i can not run... if i run quran_install.php so give this problem..can not be install

bro, either way you'll have to upload the file in chunks due to its huge size so why don't you try to do that and if still doesn't work then i'll get the .sql file for you.

When I installed this mod , Nothing happened and when I run quran.php manually I have a db error :
Database error in vBulletin 3.8.1:

1 - Upload the file quran.php from the upload folder to your fourm's root directory :up:
2 - Download quran_install.zip from here: http://www.islamic-life.com/forums/quran_install.zip :up:
3 - Unzip the file and upload quran_install.php to your fourm's root directory:up:
4 - Run the quran_install.php file by invoking it through browser i.e. www.mywebsite.com/forums/quran_install.php. :down:

brother, I tried this http://www.yenibeyin.com/forum/quran_install.php and it seems to be working. I didn't get the 404 page not found error. If this doesn't solve the problem for you then give me like a day or two and I'll upload the .sql file for you.

brother, you need to follow step 2-4 and make sure the file runs smoothlly, meaning it creates the table and dumps the content. If this doesn't work, wait for the .sql file.
