How to edit my navbar?
 

I run a small forum at www.saskforum.ca and I was wondering, at the top of my site, I added the Arcade addon from vb.org, and it went into like a second navbar... I am wondering, how do I move the "arcade" link to the top navbar, and how do I remove the bottom navbar altogether?

It's best to ask questions about a mod in the release thread for that mod. That way the coder of the mod and people who are most familiar with it can give you the best answer.

You will have to ask your style's creator to see how links are added to the top navbar (most likely, this is in the header template). To remove the bottom navbar, you will need to edit the navbar template (please post this template).

Just change that code as well and place it in to the template to create more links.

Two things:

1. With regards to "search in phrases", what do I do if I'd like to universally replace "members list" to "SF Users"?

2. Now that I have implemented some of these changes, my users are complaining that they must first click on a private forum to log in.

Search for "members list", and change that phrase to "SF Users". Easy.

Yes, but the login box is already there on the navbar...

What I mean is that I do not like having a "login" box on the main page, and there is not one.

What I would like to do instead is make a "Login" button on the top-left side of the navbar, that way users, when logged out, will see "Register" and "Login" buttons -- both of which would disappear once the user logs in.

I do not want a login box on the main page. I am aware this sounds unorthodox, but I would really like to give the "click a link in the navbar to get a login page" thing a try.

There is no "login page" in vBulletin though. You will have to create this yourself.

I would settle for being able to login from the main page, but I am not sure how to enable this.

reference somewhere, that is affecting JUST the main page...

I'm really not sure. I just need users to be able to login from the main page by any means.
